I am here to tell you all about my experience with Studio Techilo and bring awareness for others not to be scammed.

I live in Canada I bought clip-ins in February (kinky curly clip ins) after seeing videos from the channel and been following them for some years now. Boy was in for a rude awakening instant regret. I received the item ( first pic) I was in complete disbelief. The clip-ins were thin, smelled terrible, and looked nothing like the website. I could automatically see this was not like the clip-ins on the website. I immediately contacted the company explaining everything and was told to wash it and let it dry. I followed their instructions. However, the clip-ins were still not looking like the website. After a month of going back and forth , it is absolutely ridiculous for a company to have this much time instead of just refunding the customer. They went as far as sending me a video of them washing the clip-ins I sent back so insulting and ridiculous. They asked me to ship the hair back for them to do some scientific research aka to see if the hair was defective what a joke smh they were doing everything not to give me back my hard earned money knowing they are selling non human hair. This was clearly false advertisement on their end. I bought one set of clip-ins, which on the website said it is good for fullness. Now they are telling me that it is not enough. I need two sets for fullness. Honestly, having 14 clip-ins is not healthy for no ones hair like make it make sense!!

And get this for comparison they sent me a picture of a weave to compare just to tell me they have the same thing. Look how dishonest this company is. I will try to insert some email exchanges.

A real honest company would have found a solution to customer satisfaction and gave a refund or something for the fact that the customer is unsatisfied.

This is why people divert their business to non black owned companies. They prefer to argue and go back and forth.

All due respect, please do better. In the end, they wanted to send it back to me, which is pointless. I told them to throw them in the trash cause just like their customers' service has been. I will no longer be supporting this company as they don't support nor care about their customers. I suggest you all do the same.

I purchased the Exotic Curly I Tips in 18 inches. They are very long! I took a month to customize the color and bleach them lighter with a cream bleach. There was no shedding and the curl pattern didn’t change. They are easy to install and I’m very pleased with my purchase, they also didn’t have any smell to them, as they were disinfected.

This is my first time ever using Curly I tips and I tips in general and the install was fast and didn’t take a long time. I installed them myself. I will be purchasing another set either the blonde curly tape in’s or custom coloring the tape in’s or I tips in Kinky Curly, as the sides of my hair are 3c curls. The Exotic Curly is a perfect match for 3B curls, which is what the rest of my texture is. My hair is fine and low density and my hair gets weighed down after it’s washed. These help bring some volume and length.

I’m happy I get to embrace my natural hair pattern in a less painful way. Highly recommended!! I’m so happy I get to support an East Coast company, being a West Coast transplant from across the states. I’m Latina/Middle Eastern/East Indian, so the texture was spot on.

P. S~Remember to treat the hair like your own and if you don’t install them properly then you can expect some damage. I learned this with tape in tape from an encounter with Amazon. I didn’t remove my custom curly tape in’s properly and it broke my hair off. Here I am regrowing my hair in the back again. You have to use the correct products to remove them properly and not snag them out, otherwise you can lose hair. Otherwise a professional should be...

So let me start off by saying I am all for black owned businesses and SUPPORTING BLACK! Now, I tried to buy my itips from this location before my appt the next day. I called earlier in the week to ask what time the location closed and was told that they closed at 6pm. I got off work early, rushed over to struggle to find the building which if you didn't know for others its behind and attached to the sahara lounge building. I was calling multiple times to try to get help to find the store ended up with no one answering. I finally find the space and it 5:45pm so I'm like WOOOO just made it in enough time. Well nope, lights are off, doors are locked and no one insight. So I have a 9am hair appt the next day and they don't open til 10am. I had to send a friend to pick up the hair and rush it to me all the way to fayetteville where I have this appt. I tried to send an extensive video of my hair quality and asked for assistance to match my texture and received no response. The hair that I paid for that I did so much for was not what I expected it was more coarse than what looks advertised and bundles looks thinner. Mind you this was for my birthday Oct. 4th. It's only been 4 days since my install and I'm going to have to remove the itips because its too heavy on my natural. I know it could have been a better experience if I received help and a response with which hair texture would have matched my curl pattern better, but I had no choice but to use since so last minute.I'm just so disappointed.
