Visited the library on grand re-opening day and although there are positives there are several negatives. The book return chute is not very accessible to people with handicaps or those people who have trouble holding books either in their hands or in bags. No place to set anything down while putting the books in the chute. The shelves are too high and anyone who is short, cannot reach up and in a wheelchair or walker cannot reach the books on the top 3 shelves. There is no NEW section, the books are all mixed in together so unless you actually know what new books you are looking for they are not able to be seen . There is a lot of waste d space everywhere in the library. The new lighting is good and it is very spacious but I don't feel it's very user friendly. I liked the old...
Read moreI've traveled all over the US and been to probably 100 libraries. This is my favorite. Amazingly fast wifi, easy to get my work done, the staff is so kind and welcoming, and a nice huge space where there's always somewhere to sit with outlets.
Ive been here probably 20 times now and haven't got anything bad to say. There are a few people without a home who gather here during the day but it doesn't bother me. They are quite and respectful and where else are they supposed to go, you know?
We're all in this world together. Let's share it with love. The library staff does a great job at that.
Thanks...
Read moreThere was this Lady that I was very fond of, she checked n bought new anime movies for me every time I visited, I was rlly excited when I saw her at the counter she's awesome. She also wrote me a little note one day that I was having a hard time and it made me smile. I hope she still works there cause I miss going over there and seeing someone just as happy as I am, it makes my day and I hope it makes hers, I hope she'll read this too. Thank you, I think the library is a great place to chill out and find some videos or books that you'd really like.
