Botanical Garden — Attraction in Brookings

It's awesome. Except, for the weird, stinky, chick. She's, an odd little duck. Well, the weird smelly chick, wasn't there. They sure have done a lot of work on that park. Looks awesome. We love the Botanical Gardens! According to the Brookings Police, somebody, they wouldn't say who, leases the property from ODOT, and it's on their Property Watch program, and they want anyone there after dark, trespassed. But on the Botanical Gardens website, it says it's open 24 hours, the police say it isn't. I'm just wondering if anyone knows who actually owns the property. And. A great variety of native and non-native plants. These plants resist windy arid summers. There are helpful labels on most plants giving the name and country of origin. The paths are mostly graveled and there are cute features like an mini wooden bridge and archway. If you love plants and flowers this place is definitely worth a stop. This is such a beautiful little botanical garden. Absolutely lovely, especially in the Autumn. It may seem rather small but if you're a photographer that doesn't mind getting lost in a tiny place then I definitely recommend this spot.
