Boston Disciples — Attraction in Brookline

Frankly, when I moved up to Boston I thought everyone was rude, selfish and I just wanted a one-way ticket back to Cali. That was until I found this church. It's funny if you search 'boston international christian church' and you will see CULT ALERT and negativity if that's what your mouse cursor wants to click towards. I've been a member for almost 3 years nows and I found a family and people who are genuinely real and most importantly strive to make the word of God the standard in their life. The members helped support my dreams, were with me up until when I graduated college, and have always been there since in every milestone of my life. I first came in contact with the church in April 2013. This group can be defined by their love for people, and their willingness to go great lengths in order to teach the Bible to those who desire to know God. After studying the bible and attending church for only 2 weeks, my life was completely changed for the better. I now have a deeper love for God, a closer relationship with a spiritual family, and an understanding of what it really means to be a Christian.

I've visited a number of churches when first arriving in Boston. While many were welcoming, none made efforts to build genuine relationship with me nor seemed invested in my spiritual growth. However, upon visiting the Boston International Christian Church, I immediately felt like they genuinely cared for me.
