I've always enjoyed going to the movies at this location but on Christmas day, my family and I were a little disappointed. We were a party of 7, including myself, who arrived rather early for the 10:20 P.M. show of "Jumanji, Welcome to the Jungle." Upon our arrival, the young lady at the front booth was very pleasant, as well as the young lady who checked our tickets and the concession stand folks were also quite helpful, despite the "busy period" and a long line. Upon entering the theater (Theater 6), we were able to find our seats immediately and seated ourselves, which was fine. We sat in the "B" row and our seats were very comfortable, as always. That we were happy about. The temperature in the theater, upon our arrival, was comfortable. Throughout the early movie reviews, as we watched intently, everything was fine up to this point. It wasn't until the lights were turned off and the main attraction came on, is when things began to go south. Someone behind the scenes, turned the air conditioner on and boy, we were freezing! Yikes! My sister and niece had got up after the first thirty (30) minutes to actually find someone to alleviate the frigid theater temperature, to no avail. The area as to where you could speak with someone was surprisingly closed off. Thus, made it impossible to pass or to actually reach out to someone to express your issues. After walking from "the back" of the theater, we clearly had second thoughts regarding our seating arrangements. Understanding that these are "assigned" seats, we opted to "stay put" and grin and bear it! Thee worst decision I can assure you! Needless to say, the whole family froze on Christmas day at the AMC Theaters and unfortunately, the movie was disappointing too. Dear AMC and/or to whomever reads this review, please be advised that the people in "the front" of the movie theater, need heat as well. Please keep that in mind the next time you decide to turn up the air conditioner on a cold...
Read moreWas told tickets were 5 dollars via the sign up special at the theatre. Downloaded the app. Lady at counter didnt scan it spent it 60 bucks and she couldnt issue me the points for it. Great start to new theatre. My kids love movies. We see them pretty much weekly. So i decide hey everyone deserves a second chance. Tonight that was it. Thouroughly annoyed with the rude manager at the desk. My tickets were suppose to be 5 bucks for their tuesday special that they have been texting me about for weeks now. I buy the tickets dont think much about it. Nobodies in the ticket booth i used the machine. So then i see the sign and say hey okay.im not crazy its tuesday they are suppose to be 5 bucks. Tell the lady she says okay ill let the manager. At this point we waited a few minutes and the show was starting so i went it said ill deal with it after i had 2 excited boys. So we enjoy the movie and not the 10 dollar popcorn that was burnt. But they didnt have other popcorn the girl was sorry. So basically we were told eat to bad. Then i say this is annoying i really want my 15 bucks back so i ask the lady thats actually in the booth now and she says oh yeah this happens all the time on tuesday let me call the manager to fix it no problem. He comes and said your show already past. Yeah because you never came out the 1st time. So basically your theatre false advertised and if you watch a show on tuesday and then realize you were over charged we can basically kiss our money away even though every other person paid 5 bucks. But becuase i the manager couldnt deal with it before the movie. The movie past and now thats too bad for me. And your staff isnt really nice. The little girl with the her nasty hair down in the food isle was super rude about that bad popcorn. Annoyed should have waited a week and bought the movie than contribute to your businesses continued...

This place is now the worst. When I say the worst I mean the absolute worst theater I've ever seen a movie and I frequent some terrible places. I bought my tickets in advance for a Wednesday 7pm show and when we got there all 3 of the kiosks were "out of order" so we were forced to get out tickets from the ticket counter but low and behold they only had 1 ticket person so we had to wait in a line that was out the door to just pick up our tickets. They had 3 people working the conscesion stand and many staffers doing other things but just 1 person at the ticket counter. Then the seats we got were broken. When I went up to say something all the employees were too busy to help and since it took so long to get in the movie was starting so we just sat in the broken seats. When we left the bathrooms were disgusting. It's as if the staff at this location just stopped caring.
This is my 1st 1 star review. Do not go to this location under any circumstance.

In general Amc Ridge Park Square is ok. The leather recliners and assigned seating is awesome, but the new VIP concession stand cutting is super annoying. Aside from almost always having a long wait for food/drinks, they don't seem to have enough people working the registers, I have routinely watched as they let some person claiming to be a VIP cut the entire line, find out they aren't VIP and still allow them the cut and take there order. I've sent emails to the theater to no avail. Basically, go super early if you intend to get...
