I’M ADDING A 1-STAR REVIEW TO THE COLLECTION THEY HAVE ON HERE!!!! DTLR will never receive my business ever again!!! I called ahead to ask if they had a particular shoe and size in stock. They were very rude over the phone but they were one of the only place near me that had what I was looking for. I stepped foot into the store and was not greeted by anyone. I immediately walked up to a gentleman that was standing there on his phone to ask where the particular item was. He did not even speak.. just slowly lifted his arm to point in the general direction. After locating what I came in for I asked a different employee if they could grab the shoe for me. This employee acted annoyed and then asked a third employee that was the same race as me to grab the shoe. I ended up finding one other pair and then cashed out with a fourth employee. There was no “did you find everything okay?” etc. I got asked “cash or card” and then told to put my email in for the receipt. During this very awkward interaction, another customer walked in and was greeted with a friendly “Hello!” Apparently I was not the correct race to receive any type of friendly energy in that store. Read moreIf I could leave no stars I would. Racism is never acceptable when dealing with customer service. My girlfriend just returned home after visiting your Ridge park square location. She explained to me that the employees made her feel very unwelcome and they refused to greet her. After she approached an employee for assistance, they ignored her. When she asked where the toddler sizes were, they pointed to the direction of the shoes without speaking. Instead of directing her to the shoes she was looking for. When she asked for the specific size she needed they gave her an attitude and sent the only white employee to the back to grab them. She continued to make her purchases but she nor I will ever return to this location or recommend it to any of our friends. This kind of service is totally unacceptable and had I gone with her I would’ve spoken up and called them out for this terrible behavior. There needs to be some kind of action taken to assure future customers that this kind of experience never occurs again. This behavior goes against your company standards and needs to be addressed...

This store forces store credit even when you don't want it. If you're using a credit card, please press credit if you might have to return item. They don't tell you you can't get your money back if you use debt. They don't give you cash back either. They will force store credit! Like Robots. They don't deserve any stars but I had to just to let you guys know. Go to the DTLR on Lorain Ave. They're better and they don't force store credit and they gave me my money back with ease...
