Was walking in the Boca Chica location when I was stopped by a girl who threatened to have me "chased through the store and then call security to have me removed". When I tried to explain about the corporate policy for HEB she refused to listen and began harassing me. I asked for a manager. Joe showed up and asked if I could read the sign that read 'mask required'. I was extremely offended. I asked for another manager and Angel then showed up and explained that there was a mask requirement still in place. When I explained HEB policy to him he refused to agree and stated that I was being "confrontational". This was while I was surrounded by Angel, Joe, security, and two other employees who disbursed shortly. When I told him that he was giving misinformation and that they were each harassing me as a customer, he also asked if could read the sign out in front of the store. When I told him that he could request but not require me to wear a mask, he stated that he was not going to continue the conversation with me l. He then stated that nothing would actually happen to me if I did not wear a mask. I then got my hydrogen peroxide and asked for the regional manager. He told me that I could google customer service. I let him know that I knew that he knew that they were closed being a Saturday. He said that I could call on Monday. I said that he could give the information that I requested. As he was walking to the front office I told him that I was not going to allow him to play semantics with me. Both Angel and Joe them both said, almost simultaneously, "ENOUGH". THAT'S ENOUGH." I told them that I was not a child to have to tolerate such treatment. I then told them that I had had enough of them. Harassment and bullying. ANGEL and JOE at Boca Chica. I hope that corporate customer service will apologize for them or I will be filing a harassment charge. David wanted to trespass me for asking him to ask the lady how much longer it was gonna take to finish cleaning the men’s room after 20 minutes of waiting. When I open the door, I caught her standing behind the door. Then David went to open the door and she was still standing there five minutes later. He didn’t say anything to her. He didn’t ask her anything on my behalf or any of the other gentleman who are waiting to use the restroom. His eyes became so red with anger and frustration he wanted to tell me to leave, but all I was doing was asking to go to the restroom. Then I asked to speak with his manager. Macario came and did nothing to help. He looked at another manager and told him to call the police. When I asked why the police were being called just because I wanted to go to the restroom and if they wanted me to leave, all they had to do was say so Macario told me to leave the store. Horrible third rate culture at H-E-B in Brownsville Texas. They act like it’s a privilege for you to go into their store and spend your money. Despicable and disgusting leadership culture at these stores nowadays. They know nothing of customer service. Their idea of customer service is if you don’t like it, you can leave. UPDATE: some luck I have at this heb! I did curbside pickup yesterday 5/17 and they overcharged me the meat, chicken, and sold me spoiled turmeric!
Need to get better broccoli. Not sure why it looks white in the picture; probably the flash, but broccoli looks a concerning blue color. Noticed this at Boca Chica and Paredes Line location. I haven't been able to buy a decent crown of broccoli in a while. 9/4/24 Ordered produce for chicken soup and they gave me the crapiest most disgusting produce they could find. I'm convinced they do this to curbside and delivery since nobody in their right mind would choose this for themselves. I wanted to take pics but the app is glitching and keeps closing. The only reason i did curbside is because I'm sick and decided I didn't want to go into the store and get everyone sick! But I guess with this very poor service I'm gonna have to think about...
