I don't even know where to begin with this place. Everything went off as normal; my niece picked a dress, I got the package of the accessories, and I paid. The "owner" would not allow us to take photos even after I paid in FULL. I wanted pictures to ensure I got what I ordered when the items arrived. Next, she told me everything would be ready in 2 weeks from the date of purchase (January); I called in May for an update since she never called me back, and she said nothing was being made yet because her priority was prom dresses. Excuse me!! I placed the order in January, and it's now May. So, obviously, this "owner" does not know how to multitask. When I picked up the items on the first of June (after she rushed my order), she couldn't find the tiara I paid for and had to place another (this after she tried to give me a different tiara). Next, she rented me a crinoline and petticoat that was TORN. It was obvious and very noticeable when her worker handed me the torn rental. Upon returning the rental, she informed me that she was keeping my full deposit of $145 because I damaged the crinoline/petticoat. Tell me WHY this woman knew exactly where to find this tear I made without even inspecting it!? Suspicious much. She eventually returned $125 back to me. Then, she showed me a picture of what the accessories would look like, and they looked nice. Tell me why I received something a 10-year-old could have done in a school project; the accessories were the least appealing and laughable. I am not a rude person, but when I received the items, I literally let out a chuckle. The worst thing about this "owner" is she lacks integrity and honesty. When I called her to ask about the torn petticoat that she was attempting to keep my full money for (my sister dropped it off for me), she heard my voice and hung up on me! Thinking it was a mistake, I tried to call back, but she declined my call. This is not a business I would recommend even to my worst enemy. Instead of making this memory joyful, it was full of stress and doubt. I honestly thought I wouldn't get anything since she waited a week before the event to hand me the items I had placed half a year early. The lady that was helping her in and out of dress kept making faces because she wanted to try on one of the dresses again. I was bothered by the fact that she made her uncomfortable because she kept telling her no one switches dresses more than twice. Basically telling her to hurry up and pick one. My little sister felt rushes through the process and ended up picking a light blue one. A payment of $100 was left to separate the dress. She had told us that two months before the event the dress would be ordered. Perfect I said no big deal sounds good to me. The lady had told us if by any chance she was to chance her mind not to let much time pass so she could another one of her liking. Which I had said perfect we had a credit of $100 either way right. Keep in mind my sister was rushed through the process so she might chance her mind. About a month in a half later my sister wanted a different dress but divas didn’t have it so we went elsewhere and she finally found the one. So when I went to divas to tell them that we no longer needed the dress the lady just made a face. And I told her well either way we still have a credit of $100 can I get a crown for that price or a simple dress that you have displayed on the wall. Because I was going to need a dress for my sisters 15. I told her I didn’t mind paying the difference. She then told me no it was too late because they had ordered the dress already. Read moreI would not recommend this place at all, I put down-payment on a dress, I was told, as soon as paid off, it would arrive in 10days , i thought that was oddly too soon, i asked if acrinolina came with it , she said yes. When I went for 2nd payment, dress was no longer in the mannequin, I had wanted to take a picture but they mysteriously don't allow that. I paid off dress, she said ok come next Friday, I was like how do you know for sure that day, she said I know. We went she tried it on, I ordered it to be modified, I asked again if it came with acrinolina, lady said yes, my other daughter and mother in law heard her, comes the time for final pickup, it's in a bag so I just take it. I get home , I want her to try it on, the zipper doesn't work, it looks old, no acrinolina, I go to store with dress, she already knew about the zipper, like HOW. I told her i felt she gave me the MANNEQUIN dress! She denied everything. I now have proof from other stores and company that the dress has been DISCONTINUED for months!!.
