From the moment we saw the Forbes Theater at 500 Pearl, we knew we had to have our reception there. It is such a gorgeous space and even though it’s a big room, it feels intimate. We had our entire day there, starting with getting ready in the bi-level suite, our first look on Patrick’s rooftop, photos in the venue and around the theater district, ceremony in the Fuhrmann Room, reception in Forbes and Sunday brunch in the 1914 Room. Honestly everything was perfect. The getting ready suite is amazing if you have a big bridal party - it’s two floors and we had the girls upstairs and the guys downstairs. We loved doing our first look on the rooftop with views of the city behind us. Fuhrmann is a simple room for the ceremony but we were able to dress it up with a few simple additions. Forbes is stunning, looks great with almost every color scheme, has a stage for the band/DJ and a patio if the weather is nice. And the brunch in 1914 was simple but just what we needed. The venue is also connected to the Aloft (Marriott) hotel, and since many of our guests were from out of town, it was really important to us that people didn’t have to drive all over town. You really can’t beat the convenience of having everything in one place and I know our guests appreciated being able to relax. Now onto the staff. I can’t say enough good things about Christine, our coordinator. From day one, she didn’t miss a beat. She had every detail documented and most importantly was such a “yes” person. Anything we wanted (within reason), she did her best to give to us. She was kind and compassionate, responsive, and you can tell she really takes her job to heart. On the day of, she was present and running around getting us whatever we needed. The rest of the staff was also great, the servers, bartenders, and everyone else involved. We got a lot of compliments about the service and the food and felt like we were personally taken care of. All around, we had an excellent experience and would recommend 500 Pearl and...
Read moreIt’s hard to put into words just how grateful I am for Dianne and her incredible team at 500 Pearl. We hosted three wedding events there, and each one was more beautiful and meaningful than I could have imagined. Our welcome drinks at Patrick’s Rooftop was the perfect way to kick off the weekend. Between the breathtaking views and the warm, attentive service, our guests were absolutely thrilled. It set the tone for a celebration filled with joy and connection. The farewell breakfast in the Grand Aeries was equally special—a peaceful, elegant space where we could reflect on the weekend and say goodbye to our loved ones. The service was flawless, and it truly felt like the perfect closing chapter to an unforgettable experience. But the heart of it all was our reception in Forbes Theatre. I don’t even know where to begin. The space was stunning, the energy was magical, and everything ran so smoothly it felt like a dream. And that’s all thanks to Dianne. From the moment we started planning, Dianne was a rock—professional, thoughtful, and incredibly kind. She answered every question, eased every concern, and made us feel like we were the only couple she was working with. Her dedication and care were unmatched. She worked tirelessly to make sure our day was perfect, and I felt so supported and seen throughout the entire process. Dianne didn’t just help us plan a wedding—she helped us create memories that will last a lifetime. I will never forget how calm and confident I felt knowing she was by our side. Her team mirrored her excellence in every way, and together they created something truly extraordinary. If you’re considering a wedding at 500 Pearl, I can say with all my heart: do it. And if you have the chance to work with Dianne, know that you are in the very best hands. I’m endlessly grateful for everything she did to make our wedding...
Read moreI’d like to preface my review with why this is and was so impactful. I just retired USAF and have never until June 2025 have had the freedom to travel with my two boys. Not on a vacation not once outside of home in Texas. I’m a single mom and aircraft mechanic. This summer I’ve taken my boys on a road trip of a lifetime that I’ve spared no costs to show them the world they so deserved after so many sacrifices. Louisiana, Pensacola, Washington DC, Michigan Detroit, NewYork NY and lastly Niagara Falls for the 4th of July. I researched in depth, for the best hotel to view The Falls and a monumental fireworks display from with a balcony facing the river. I called and confirmed and paid high dollar for this room. I was assured it was with balcony and river racing. To our surprise we walked into what appears to be just like a hospital room with inner city parking lot view. Kamisha who confirmed and reconfirmed our room was surprised to hear the negligence and offered to bring keys to the room I paid for herself. She suddenly called up and completely shifted her customer service respectful and helpful demeanor to a very uncooperative and rude tone offering absolutely ZERO resolutions! Not a room change, not an explanation as why she gave our room away elsewhere, she offered absolutely nothing to accommodate or empathize that she gave our room out from under us, no upgrade was offered not even not even a complimentary meal for my children who missed the fireworks and dinner. The room looked a bit disheveled and I was told not even a refund would be given nor would anyone bring up...
