When I entered the establishment I was greeted by Victoria with a great big smile and a amazing vibe. She was very excited and ready to work on my hair all together. She took the time to hear what I liked about my hair currently and what I didn’t like as much. She got me set up in the chair and was very friendly towards me and had me opening up about life as I was getting my hair cut. It was nice to be acknowledged as a person and not a customer for a change. She is the true face of customer service. She is a wonderful guide as well, with recommending me products and recommending me places to go hang as a college student. The dry part of the curly cut was very fairly quick and thorough but I was a little undecided on how short I wanted my hair so it did take some time to even understand myself. She then had me sit to get my hair washed and conditioned. She took her time with my hair better than I would usually do. She brushed my hair and conditioned my hair so well. She brushed my hair better than myself and gave me a pain free experience all together. She had my hair smelling so good and hydrated after the wash. She then diffused my hair and was cutting along the way to style my hair even more. I absolutely fell in love with my hair right then and there. My hair smelled amazing and it felt amazing with the products she was using on my hair. I felt like a brand new person leaving the establishment and I would totally recommend Victoria as a go to. She is a one of a kind and makes you feel comfortable from the start. She cares about customer service more than anything and she continues to show that more than it can be said about anyone. She even displayed customer service outside the establishment by walking me to my bus stop and waiting for me to be picked up. she then proceeded to check up on me a few minutes later to see if I got to my dorm safe. If I could give Victoria a 1000000000000000000/5 star review I would in a heart beat. I’ve always had the hardest time finding a good stylist. For POV I am a woman of color so growing up in the southern towns of Buffalo I was always told my hair was “ too much” this way or “ too much that way”. No matter how explained I wanted a color it never turned out how I wanted. For years I was scared to get my hair dyed, then this past year I decided to try it with another hairstylist who I thought I trusted but didn’t produce the red color I wanted or listened to me. I felt ashamed about my hair for so long, until I finally found Victoria who changed my world. If I could take her with me as I’m about to move to another state for grad school I would. I knew from the moment I walked through her door everything would change. Not only was Victoria a nonjudgmental person, she spent over 5 hours working to fix my hair to create the look I’ve been wanting for so long. She made me tea and feel relaxed in her chair as we chatted the whole time. She is an incredibly sweet individual who is so knowledgeable I could listen to her for hours. Her pulling out organic chemistry to explain certain concepts to me was so fun and a silly goose time. She explained how to take care of my hair and make my red hair LAST even while I am out of state and said I could reach out any time with any questions. At the end, I was FLABBERGASTED, jaw dropped, on the floor at how well she brought the hair I wanted to LIFE. The legendary work effortlessly performed by this one amazing individual is easily recognizable as thee experience I will be making an appointment for, again and again and again! This was positively beyond my expectations for what human-to-human interactions and hair service could be. I'm so excited to see what's next! We're rewriting the book here! I can be myself at this salon, express myself, and therefore comfortably communicate what I want. (And get it!) I didn't feel rushed, what a relief!
