I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Safari Inn Hotel in Burbank, CA, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's retro charm and vibrant decor immediately set a welcoming tone, making me feel like I'd stepped into a classic Hollywood movie. The rooms were impeccably clean, a little small for a family of 4, and well-appointed, providing all the modern amenities while retaining a unique vintage flair. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooftop heated pool offered stunning views of the city, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Its convenient location, just minutes away from major studios and attractions, made it an ideal base for exploring Burbank. Overall, the Safari Inn exceeded my expectations, combining comfort, style, and excellent service in a delightful package. The Safari Inn Hotel in Burbank, CA, offers a delightful array of amenities and services that enhance the overall experience. Here are some of the standout features: - **Rooftop Pool**: The hotel boasts a beautiful rooftop pool with stunning views of the surrounding cityscape. It's the perfect spot for a refreshing swim or to unwind on the sun deck with a good book. - **Fitness Center**: For those who like to stay active, the hotel has a well-equipped fitness center. It includes a variety of exercise machines and free weights, catering to a range of workout preferences. - **Pet-Friendly**: The Safari Inn is pet-friendly, making it a great choice for travelers who want to bring their furry friends along. They provide pet amenities to ensure your pet's comfort during the stay. - **Free Wi-Fi**: Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, making it easy to stay connected, whether you're catching up on work or streaming your favorite shows. - **Parking**: The hotel offers free on-site parking, which is a huge plus in the Los Angeles area where parking can often be challenging and expensive. What’s challenging is some of the parking you gotta make awkward choices of how you’re gonna park. - **Shuttle Service**: A convenient shuttle service is available for guests, providing transportation to nearby attractions, including Universal Studios Hollywood and Warner Bros. Studios. The best part it’s included with your stay. Make reservations, ahead of time to secure your spot on the shuttle. Holds around 9 people. Time slots from 6am - 9:30pm the latest daily. Also, don’t forget to tip the driver. On my stay only one other person tip the driver. Cheap azzes, those trips cost around $50 -$70 both ways. An I saved $35 for parking at Universal Studios on both Saturday and Sunday. So be generous and tip the driver. - **24-Hour Front Desk**: The front desk is staffed 24/7, ensuring that assistance is always available. The staff are knowledgeable and can help with everything from check-in/out processes to local recommendations. - **Laundry Services**: For guests staying longer or who need some laundry done, the hotel offers laundry and dry-cleaning services, which is very convenient. - **Meeting Rooms**: Business travelers will appreciate the on-site meeting rooms, which are equipped with audio-visual equipment and can be arranged to suit various types of gatherings and events. - **Room Amenities**: The rooms themselves are well-appointed with comfortable beds, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, coffee makers, and almost spacious bathrooms. With 4 people it felt small. Just my family looks at it like we ate staying in are hotel room all day. We only use the rooms to have a roof over are heads. Some rooms even come with kitchenettes, ideal for longer stays. Just would be nice if there was a small closet. With these thoughtful amenities and services, the Safari Inn ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay, whether you're in Burbank for business or leisure.

HORRIBLE PPL!!!!||HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!!!!! ||THE ROOMS ARE NOT CLEANED AFTER USE, BED SHEETS ARE NOT CHANGED EVERYTIME. FOR A FACT. Do you know how I know????? My 8 yr old had an acting showcase the next day, her acting coach SPECIFICALLY said NO blue candy or spaghetti. So we brought NO candy AT ALL in our room!!! My 8 yr old woke up in the morning for me to do her hair pretty for her showcase. THERE WAS A HUGE GLOB OF EXTREMELY STICKY BLUE GOO CANDY THAT SMELLED LIKE BLUEBERRY IN IT. HUGE!!!! I started to cry because I washed it the night before and blow dried it really well to have it perfect for the morning to hurry amd fix up. I had to wash it and started to blow dry it and it was STILL STICKY!!! I wasted SOOOOO much time doing this and knew now I had NO time to curl it. I cried while washing her hair again AS FAST AS I COULD. I blow dried it and it was freaking STILL sticky. This was SOOOOO freaking unfair to me after we spent $3,000 to do this showcase. I couldn't stop crying, I have the HARDEST time ever with confrontation so decided to email them on the way to the showcase while my mom drive us there. It was not fair at all, it really wasn't fair. We would absolutely NEVER waste $3,000 to do this showcase and have candy that pur acting coach SPECIFICALLY told us not to bring. Why would we??? It makes NO sense. They said in email that their manager would call and she never did. So my mom called for me because again, I hate confrontation, I am so awkward and have the most extreme social anxiety that I just couldn't do it fave to face or over the phone, I just feel awkward. My mom called and she didnt answer so my mom left a voicemail. She didnt call for days and when she did, of course we missed it.but my mom called within 30minutes and no one answered. The woman on the voicemail said her name was KRISTA but when we called again that day because of no call back a woman answered that had the same accent and sounded like the exact same woman but tbis time she used a differwnt name and said Krista was not in her office. Now of course, I could be wrong about that so please don't quote me on that or use that against me but we were very upset about this. OH!! And the day of the showcase I tried fixing her hair by putting some of it up a bit and noticed she had bl I e goo candy IN HER EAR AND ON THE SICE OF HER FACE. IT'S NOT ONLY UNACCEPTABLE BUT ABSOLUTELY SICKENING SOMEBIDYS CHEWED UP CANDY GUNK IS IN MY 8 YEAR OLDS EAR! By the way, my daughter every night ends up throwing her pillow off the bed in her sleep and sleeping straight on the mattress and thats EXACTLY where I found the blue stain when searching the bed for the blue goo candy. After SOOOOO long (JULY 27!!) FINALLY TODAY, My mom emailed them again and called someone named John that she found was the owner on the BBB site and left a voicemail and within and hr Krista called my mom and called us LIARS, she stated that a housekeeping supervisor specifically checked OUR room before we came, of course, when asked the date and time on the log she said that's in house information only. She refused to do ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I sent photos and have proof of emails that I sent complaining. HOW IS THIS OK OR FAIR!?!?!?!? HOW!?! I am NOT a liar and neither is my mother and seriously this is sooo unfair and so wrong. I ONLY ever leave good reviews because I never want to harm a business, even when one had roaches. I Just wouldn't hurt a company like that. I've never ever reported an issue like this but this RUINED my plans for my daughters showcase in front of ACTUAL AGENTS AND CASTING DIRECTORS. This is so sick and I just know there will be a reply to this but I swear on everything this is legitimate and you should sincerely consider going here because again, they don't always change the sheets clearly if they think it doesn't look dirty and if you havean issue THEY WILL NOT FIX IT AND CALL YOU LIARS!!! But Iof they reply I swear to you ANYTHING THEY SAY WILL BE A STRAIGHT LIE AND I DON'T CARE I DON'T CARE I DON'T CARE, I AM NOT A LIAR, I WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO A BUSINESS, I WOULD NEVER EVER RISK MY DAUGHTERS CHANCES AT WHAT SHE WANTS TO DO, I WOULD NEVER DISOBEY HER ACTING COACH THAT WE PAID FOR AND SPEND 3,000ON A SHOWCASE BY STAINING HER MOUTH BLUE THE DAY BEFORE HER SHOWCASE, IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!!!! Dont risk it, im serious please for your own sake and to not have to be extremely upset for someone telling you are lying about a serious issue,...

Nope.

My two night stay...

I was made to check out of my room after my first night as I was told that the double room was no longer available, this was a inconvenience however as I had originally only booked one night and then extended my stay, I understood this. I was not happy after spending my day at universal and coming back to the hotel only to be checked back into the same hotel room I was already in. In the two nights I stayed, I never got to settle in.

Then came the worst experience I've ever had with a hospitality staff member. I inquired with the front desk lady as to why my credit card was pending four charges for my two night stay. The charges equaled well over a thousand dollars. She did not have an answer for me and was incredibly rude. For example... When I mentioned my rate for the first night should have been $150.00. She responded "ok sir I have worked here for 18 years and never have we has a 150 rate" I responded "it says right here 149" she responded "ok well that's not 150 is it"

For about an hour I waited while she tried to figure out these pending charges. I then asked "is there a resolution to this tonight because if not I'll just contact your manager when they are working next to discuss this" she replied "My manager will be in at 11pm."

At this time it was 1030 I still have not settled into my room on my second nights stay but I thought I'll wait if the manager is coming in. So at 11 I am now speaking with the original front desk lady and another woman who has just started her shift.

This woman breaks down the charges, explains why they are pending, explains the deposit policy and explains exactly which charges will go through and which will not. She then explains that she is not the manager.

I thank her for giving me the information that should have been provided by the other employee who had been there for 18 years but then asked that employee why she lied and said this woman was the manager. I would not have stayed up later to bother this woman who is not the manager at the start of her shift.

She says "oh well she helped you so she's kind of a manager, the real manager is in on Monday"

I requested a follow up call from the real manager. She apologized and offered to credit back 20% of my stay.

I spent two nights at your hotel. Was forced to check out halfway through. Only to be checked into the same room. Never got to settle in and was lied to and trested very poorly by a member...
