Terrible customer service skills, clearly trying to weed out any kind of work. I came in with notes from samsung to replace my internal built in screen protector due to it lifting where it folds. A known issue with Samsung's Fold 4. They replace it 1 time during the lifetime of the device, which i was due for. As soon as I asked for the service, the gentleman asked me for my phone, took 1 sec to inspect it and told me my warranty was voided because of a hairline crack. I told him thay had nothing to do with my inside screen separating from the inside and how its a known problem. He stated Samsung is very strict on their policy. I reminded him Samsung has my account noted and they wouldn't be receiving it back anyway to see my backside hairline crack. All I needed was the screen protector (plastic) replaced. My screen is fine beneath the plastic and the back crack is harmless. He refused to help me unless I paid between $20 to $35 for him to do it outside of Samsung warranty. Clearly, the warranty doesn't pay him to change it compared to him charging me directly. Either way... there's a finesse to customer service where you deliver bad news with empathy and compassion. Then try and help me by finding a way even though there's a cost. He needs to learn how to talk to people as a salesman because I saw right through him and his true intent. At least fake it... zero compassion or willingness to help. Zero stars if I could.

Well, been standing here since noon on Sunday and nobody is here. Would be nice if this place opened on time. This is after I got here 5 minutes prior to closing yesterday and they had already locked the door. It’s now 12:15pm and they’re supposed to pen at noon,, love their inability to stay open until closing hours and open on time.

Would not recommend going there. They email you telling you that your product is ready but when you show up it’s another story and they did this to me multiple times. I drive really far to come down here and I have to go back home without my item being ready. Would not recommend coming here. Save your time and gas.

Unless you enjoy being violated by surprise, steer clear! I dropped 1 dead iPhone SE, 1 iPhone 7 with a shattered display, a monitor that had a pink line through the center, and a MacBook Pro that would power on but the screen would not illuminate.

First red flag, the "technician" told me flat out that nobody there has any actual training in electronics repair. Basically, they replace screens and major plug and play components only. And if that doesn't fix the issue, they have no idea what to do from there. So if you like being charged exorbitantly more than you probably need to, then this is definitely the place for you! I only relented because I wasn't actually using any of these items, had already tried a few fixes on the MacBook, and didn't have anymore time to lend these tasks. Besides, if I had to open YouTube on my own phone one more time, only to find it riddled with My Little Pony videos from my daughter's relentless pursuit of Equestrian magic, I might have had another broken phone on my hands. But anyway, I digress...

So, it wasn't much of a surprise that they were only able to fix 1 of the 4 items I dropped off (the iPhone SE, by replacing the screen). Fine, but it wasn't exactly the most important of the items, so I wasn't in any rush to get in and pick it up. I don't know if they bank on this, or what, because what they DON'T tell you is that if you don't pick your items up within 30 days, they just go on ahead and take the liberty of sending them off for "recycling". I'm sure it's in the fine print, CYA section of the contract. But you won't get a call, you won't get an email. Your stuff will just unceremoniously go the way of Tyson's boxing career and just dithappear! And the only reward you'll be given for your trouble is being forced to listen to 15 minutes of some drop out, mouth breather stuttering over company rhetoric on 'policy', assuring you that they actually did all the things that you know they didn't. But don't worry, you'll be happy to know that they're very sorry that you don't enjoy having your personal property passively appropriated like your consciousness at a Bill Cosby after-party. Show me on the contract where the bad company touched you.

What a joke. I pronounce this experience negative four stars, since it's not an option I can select. Place should be called "U...

I had scheduled an appointment today for 12:30 through Samsungs website to get my screen protector on my Zflip 5 replaced as it has started to peel up. I was running about 5 min late, so I called ahead to let them know I was running a little late to our appointment. I called four times, and not once did someone pick up. I left a voicemail saying I was running a little late, and no one responded to or acknowledged the voicemail I had left. I assumed the line was busy, and they would call back from the voice mail. I guess not.

I show up about 5 min late. Wait in line for a couple of minutes, then talk to the guy at the front. Explain I have an appointment at 12:30. I apologize for being a little late. Asked him if they could do the screen protector replacement. The guy at the front said they wouldn't have time and could do it tomorrow. Excuse me? I had an appointment for a simple screen protector replacement for a Galaxy ZFlip 5. I would think it's at max a 20-minute repair. I talked to the guy at 12:37. I was still in our alloted appointment time, and they could have done the repair in the time I had scheduled to be there. Yet they refused my service and said to come back tomorrow. This is terrible customer service. I HAD A SCHEDULED APOINTMENT, AND YOU TURN ME AWAY? I would understand if it was a major repair and I showed up late. But this is unacceptable for a simple 20-minute repair that could be resolved within the alloted appointment time, even with me showing up a little late.

I put 2 stars because I am giving the benefit of the doubt. Maybe if I had shown up on time, they would have actually done the repair. But from the other reviews I've seen, I highly doubt that even if I was early, they would have done it.

If you need a Zflip or Zfold screen protector replacement, DO NOT COME HERE. They don't even honor the scheduled apointment times. Why should I trust them to put a new screen protector on my $1000 phone when they can't even schedule...

I have an iPhone X that had a severely broken screen. Shards of glass were flaking off it was so deeply cracked! I have an asurion insurance plan on this phone but had never used it. I called asurion to get info on how the glass coverage and repair process worked. The initial call and scheduling was great. I went on the appointed date to UBIF repair shop. The staff were attentive, eager to help, and very knowledgeable on iPhone X repairs. They replaced the screen within a short time but the asurion work order sent to them was incomplete, it didn’t even tell them why I was bringing the phone in for repair. They had the part needed thankfully but iPhones face imaging and True Tone have to be calibrated for the phone to work perfectly. Asurion /Apple didn’t reply to UBIF repeated attempts to contact them for the calibration issue. UBIF was so helpful, techs were so patient, they kept checking in with me to update me on the delay in calibration and explain what caused the delay. After a while of their repeated efforts to contact the insurer they literally said we can bypass this and get your phone back and if there is an issue we will work with it. So because the phone insurance co did NOT do their part, UBIF had to jump thru hoops to remedy the issue. Asurion was not the team player they should have been and claim to be. The lack of follow thru on asurions part cost UBIF repair techs two days of phone calls and emailing, for something they really had repaired in two hours on day one! UBIF techs are problem solvers! They are driven by their passion with electronics, but purpose to please the customer regardless of the inconvience it cost them! UBIF (Burleson) is a 5 star shop, their staff are phenomenal! They extend every effort to save your device and everything in it! And have insurance cover it...
