May be in 2007 !! But now it has become a time machine.This bridge is indeed crumbling !! Now it's time to restrict heavy vehicles. They only patched the road instead of entirely re-paving it. Right after fixing it. got damaged again in. Roads are severely damaged road and the bridge commission does not care about motorists despite being charged $3 on EZ and $ 4 cash! Upcoming traffic poses a severe collision risk on this narrow bridge Trucks, tow trucks, and small trucks with full loads do not go under the speed limit at all!! There is no enforcement at all.... be cautious while driving on this bridge. I do take this bridge every day as I do not have a choice but to go the work and come back to PA. This is the advantage of compelled people bridge commission...

An older Bridge almost scary to cross sometimes because it's so narrow it was worth it in the past because the price was cheaper than going over the larger bridges into Philadelphia but now that the price has been raised it almost seems to be more of an issue but since it's close or if it's close for you depending upon your location that would be the only reason why it's worth it to take this bridge otherwise it's safer to get across one of the larger Bridges it is a great problem when there's an opening for boats going through it slows down traffic dramatically and congest the town on the Burlington side...

I don't feel safe crossing this tight two lane bridge (one lane in both directions.) It should've been remodeled by making this a wide four lane bridge (two lanes in both directions) but that could also mean that it'll spike up the price at the toll plaza, just like the staten island crossings from $4.00 about 30+ years ago to over $15.00 as of now. Almost every toll plaza as of now are mostly electronic "ez pass or toll by plate" and no more shelling out regular cash. Next thing you'll worry about is receiving the ez pass and or toll by plate bill...
