If there was an option for a negative star rating they would definitely deserve every bit of that. I cannot even describe to you the frustration I have with this location and the customer service. I have used them many times for standard prints in the past so I decided to do my Christmas cards with them (1st time doing Christmas cards.) Well the day I went in to create them , they made me do the process 3 separate times, look through all of my photos and choose the ones for the card...3 times...I was like ok it's fine I'm not in a hurry. So 4 days later I still had not received a phone call that my prints and cards were ready so I called them and they responded, "Oh we had a mix up, your form and card and everything is mixed up so we need you to re- do everything. mmm seriously? They didn't even call me to inform me of this and it is a week from Christmas. So after all the hassle of figuring out the right card and photos and the order in general, they finally called me when the cards were done. I run up to the store on my lunch break and AGAIN mistakes! All of my return address stickers have wrong address and the cards are glossy and not matte like I repeatedly told them I wanted. So I wait for twenty minutes for them to reprint addresses and then go to pay. Now running late to get back to work, they forget to give me my regular prints and have to ring me up again, mind you after already paying almost $70 for the cards. When I go to pay for the prints I say that I would appreciate a discount for all the trouble Ive been through and the man replies, "We actually have pretty quick service here." I am so livid at this point I pay and rush back to work bc obviously the staff here are no help and are oblivious to all the mistakes and trouble they put me through. will never ever go back here and will tell everyone I know...
Read moreSo Dick and Millie‘s camera shop was absolutely phenomenal, my customer service was provided by Keith (I can speak for both him and even hashing dealt with everybody in there to an extent) all employees had a wonderful attitude, very pleasant and welcoming and extremely knowledgeable in this/their craft. Unquestionably, this is a business that puts the customer first. They would not oversell me on anything (and I tried) I was thinking I must have the best of everything and they got me hooked up with what it was that, I actually needed, not just the highest priced item. It’s that sort of thing that will make me (a new resident in this area) a long term customer I wouldn’t go anywhere else (not a chance). A business like this, which has been around for 75 years, I clearly see why. They’ve got much more than just cameras, they’ve got photos/photography service. They’ve also got framing and cases and even passport photos. They’ve got accessories, high-end scopes and binoculars. Although I actually have a business account, I was making a personal purchase. I did not want to put it on my business account, and I did not want to be forced to set up a personal account because I wanted to spend over $100! It seemed ridiculous, controlling and counter intuitive for a company that is about to make a good sale. I'm tired of accounts everywhere that are required on line, so I make an effort to shop at local venues who will accept good old cash without any hoops to jump through. Update: In addition to the manager immediately posting a response, he also called me directly. It is not actually an account that must be set up, but just the name and phone # that is collected.
