Just wanted to give everyone a heads up , I ate at Blue ribbon dinner about a week ago and ordered a grilled chicken wrap and my husband ordered a grilled chicken plate. It was getting late like 7:30ish. When they sat the food down my husband immediately noticed the chicken was cold to the touch so he said "I can't eat this" so he sent it back. They immediately brought another piece of the same cold chicken, this time he picked it up and asked the girl to touch it and said again "im not eating this". So they said ok we will cook you a new piece. In the meantime I inhaled my wrap and no I wasn't thinking about cold chicken in a wrap, I had not eaten a thing alll day and I was starving . About 15-20 mins went by and they brought a fresh piece which him and my daughter ate. After the managers stood around snickering about us. Food poisoning never crossed my mind until.... 1 hour later I was having what they call "Sulfer burps" 🤢. This is the most disturbing thing it's like hot gas coming up and burning and smelled and tasted like rotten eggs, if you google it , it's released when your body tries to break down protein . At 4am I woke up and was violently sick, it lasted the whole next day to. I had to cancel my work the whole next day as well so this little wrap cost me $300 plus whatever it cost us to eat there that night. I went to the urgent care and I called the health department. This is ridiculous to try to save a dollar on some old chicken. When I brought this to the main managers attention via email I was offered a giftcard for some more of that nasty food. No thanks! It's so inconsistent and the temps are definitely off. I'd say your okay if you go at peak hours but don't go in at an off time your really taking chances. Edit: I don't know why the business replied to email them about this experience when I emailed them on sept 6th about my experience, it's now the 17th.

Ordered carryout from Blue Ribbon on S. Church St. tonight and was very disappointed. This was the fifth time this month that we've gotten carryout from here but the first time we ordered something different than our usual spaghetti dinner. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries cost me an extra $1.25 but I hoped it'd be worth it. It wasn't, there weren't many of them and they were soggy. If thar wasn't bad enough, my grilled chicken sandwich also had a soggy bun and a large piece of rotten lettuce on top. I mean slimey, starting to turn black ROTTEN! What kind of person thinks it is ok to serve this to anyone? That's just nasty! I actually took a bite of the chicken alone and the texture was very chewy and stringy with a slimey feel. So that confirmed that the whole thing was gross and my entire meal went directly into the trash where it belonged before I even picked it up. I paid $25.57 tonight for dinner for two only to end up having to eat a Hot Pocket from my freezer. My husband said his meal was good otherwise I would have rated 1 star instead of 3. I don't think it is possible for someone to make the "mistake" of serving something rotten. They saw what they put on the sandwich and I they had to have the common sense to know better. No excuse. They just didn't care.

Edit we went tonight and got food at the drive through. It was pure nasty. I got the fried chicken with gravy which was grizzly and tasted off. I got fried okra which was fried too much and burnt and I got mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes were nasty. My husband got the same except brown gravy and he got Mac and cheese and gravy. His chicken and sides were not good either. My adult daughter got the same chicken and brown gravy and got cabbage and mashed potatoes. She said the same as we did and said the cabbage had no flavor to it. This is not the normal at this place. We have been here a lot and done dine in and carry out. It was gross but my husband had to go to work so we ended up eating it anyway. My phone alerted me to do an update to this. No I didn't call or say anything because it was like 8pm and we were just stuck with it at that point cause he was running out to work in a few. This was my first review below. Which was a few weeks ago. And we ate inside. Always good service I recommend the spaghetti and salad

Wasnt going to do this, but after speaking to the restaurant manager, I felt the need to do so. Our waitress, after calling found out her name is faith, which is one of the original servers been there for years, come to the table and instead of a greeting, we got straws thrown on our table and asked what we was getting. At this moment I felt disrespected and should have left but instead I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She takes our order, brings my salad out as our food was also coming out which it should have come out way before. One of the things we ordered was the fried pickles which also should have come out way before our food. She brings our food out we asked where the pickles was and wouldn't you know she "over looked it" and didnt put it in. Said it would only be about 2 mins and we would have gotten them. Ok we eat our food which did not include the fried pickles. The other person I was with never and I say this never says anything or gets mad and says anything, well she had enough and actually said something. So for her to do so the service was horrible. Will never eat here again and never recommend...
