The new recliner seats and reserved seating is a major upgrade for the only movie theatre (that plays new releases) from Durham to Greensboro. I am not sure how I'll feel about the seats when the motor goes out in them, as they are electric, if they are not kept up and I am sure the ticket prices will eventually reflect the upgrade and/or upkeep but very nice right now. The new design gives ample leg room. No longer do you feel like you should have given the total stranger with a weak bladder a dollar bill for what seemed like a personal lap dance when they squeezed by you while awkwardly saying "excuse me" as personal parts that no fellow movie enthusiast should ever have to touch, rub vigorously...
Read moreI don't go to the movies very often as there are apps and other sources i can watch a movie for free but i just have to wait a bit. But sometimes a movie preview looks so good i decide to go watch a movie and this is my go to cinema. Friendly employee's. I always eat prior to going here though cause their food is way overpriced. But most cinemas mark up their food prices cause that's really where most of their profit comes from. I always go during matinee time (Anytime before 4 pm) and save even more money. Well lit staircase when the lights are down low. Their sound system is fantastic. Plenty of seating. Easy to navigate around. Always have been clean when i have been. I definitely recommend this...
Read moreThe only bad thing about this place is the staff, they are literally nowhere to be found. You have to purchase your ticket at the counter or the new kiosk that they have where you can be 30 but buy a kids ticket bc the dont check it anyways. The first people you meet are the people who give out the food & they aren't overly welcoming. If no one is at the window, or taking tickets who do you think is cleaning the place? It just feels dirty and I've NEVER seen a person cleaning. The theater its self is the only reason I give it 3 stars. You dont get the movie theater experience...
