I love this park so much. It's got a ton of fields for the kids' leagues, a play area with a goldfish slide and swings, and two tennis courts. Also, two sets of bathrooms, one on the walking trail and the other air-conditioned and with drink machines.
The trail itself is half a mile or three quarters depending on your route. Some of it is actually in the woods. I've seen walkers, runners, and dog walkers here. Be aware, some of the full track is gravel but you can use the pavement if need be.
Like Pokemon? This place has five gyms and more than eleven stops. Every Thursday a new Spawn of the Week appears. The players are very active here.
There's also a covered picnic area that I think you can reserve through the parks department. I see a lot of people who just come and eat lunch in their cars. Overall just a fun place...

We sat in the park for an hour or so, just relaxing with the dog. The playing fields were closed off for some sort of renovation work and the kids playground was closed off as well. But as a retreat from the bustle of the city, this place is quiet and not terribly crowded. We enjoyed a park bench...
Read moreVery quiet this morning at 8am, it was me and a guy walking his dog. I enjoyed taking a peaceful walk, looping around the park to get my morning steps in. The park has a walking track that runs about 3/4 of a mile.
The park has soccer and baseball fields, tennis/pickleball courts and a picnic shelter. The playground for kids is in excellent condition with a three-story climbing tower and multiple slides. There are picnic tables nearby for the adults to sit while the kids burn off...
