Third time in a row going here and getting bad service, incorrect food and it's always dirty. Don't waste your time.
Ordered the BBQ chicken with my wife. It came out with nearly no sauce, no red onion and no cilantro. The server said "well that's our BBQ pizza." My wife asked just for some red onion to throw on top and call it good. The server never brought them. Then we noticed about 1/3 of the pizza was crust, as in an entire slice but 2" had no toppings. So we asked them to remake it, and you can tell the genius working in the back was obnoxiously over topping the pizza. It came out looking like soup. And it was still missing cilantro. Then, like 15 minutes after the first incorrect pizza came out, we finally got our (burnt) bruschetta appetizer. At this point, my wife just had enough with the attitude from the lazy staff and went to the car.
When the server brought the check out, she tried to skip past the itemization even though she said she'd take the pizza and the bruschetta off. I asked her explicitly if she took the pizza and bruschetta off and she said yes. I went back in the payment system because the price was obviously high, and sure enough everything was still on the ticket. I asked her to remove the pizza and bruschetta, and she had to go get another employee to call the manager because there was no manager AT the restaurant, apparently.
Finally, they got him on the phone so he could give his code to remove the pizza and bruschetta from the ticket. He told the employees that he wouldn't allow them to remove the pizza. At this point, I was surprised that they'd even try to get me to pay for this absolute garbage service and far worse "food." I told them they can take the money for the one pizza that came out mostly okay, aside from being burned and covered in honey that was supposed to be spicy and wasn't. Either that, or I would just leave. They really escalated the situation at wvery opportunity to make things worse. They took the payment for 1 pizza and the whiny boy that couldn't make a pizza to save his life was clearly trash talking me, lol.
Third time in a row we've been here and it's been absolutely awful. Waste of money. Chapel Hill and Cary locations are great! Burlington location... we'll, it's surprising...
Read moreWent here for an early dinner. There were early warning signs that my husband and I had ignored for some reason, but we were told to sit where ever we wanted, but most tables that were open looked dirty....
We've been to two other Brixx locations closer to Raleigh, and both were pretty well kept, and clean. This location looked like someone had forgotten about it. Tables with smudge marks and crumbs, floors looked like they could be mopped (a few times), and bathrooms that make you want to turn around and hold it.
We knew what we wanted and ordered quickly. Like usual, we had looked at the menu ahead of time, to be easier on the staff. I ordered the 4x4 pizza and husband got the sausage and spicy honey pizza.
While waiting for our food, there was a ton of hollering from the back area, lots of laughing and noise. I'm all about a fun work environment, but this seemed a little more than excessive.
My pizza was loaded with toppings and had HUGE chunks of ham, that made it really hard to eat the pizza. It was a mess and frankly difficult to chew the way it was prepared. Usually the size of the meats are all cut similarly and while I appreciate the quantity of toppings, I'd prefer quality instead.
Unfortunately, the top of the honey container fell off on top of my husband's pizza. They brought it out, and still offered it to him, or they could make a new one. The honey was WAY too much to eat and he asked for a new one. Later the person who prepared the pizza came out and sat "Sorry about the honey, I dont know how that happened... Well actually I know how it happened, I didn't twist the lid on enough..."
We had a coupon, but the meal for two personal pizzas, one soda and one water was still over $25 total, with a terrible environment, and poor quality.
My husband has written to the store twice with feedback privately, and they haven't responded. Figured a review at this point...
Read moreMy wife and I arrived around roughly 2pm on a Sunday. When we entered, the restaurant appeared somewhat full. We were immediately seated which was great, however, we didn't realize that this was the last time we would have any associate acknowledge us. We sat at our table for 15 minutes and didn't even have a drink order taken. As we sat there, we realized that most of the other guests had already been served. A cook even came our of the kitchen to talk to a family, that I think she knew because she commented "joke's on you, I'm getting paid $13 an hour to serve you" as she was getting napkins for them. That's $13 too much as I found out their sanitation grade as of January 1 is 85. After waiting for nothing to happen, my wife and I decided to leave, I handed the menus back to another server stating "we waited for 15 minutes and nobody ever came to the table." Her response to this was to roll her eyes and slowly turn away. This isn't a movie, no need to be that dramatic as a failure. Anyway, avoid this place, it's apparently run by children as I wasn't able to notice anyone who appeared to be an adult or a supervisor. It's also dirty as are the employees. Take a bath, wash your clothes, and...
