Leddy Park — Attraction in Burlington

Leddy is nice in a lot of ways. I love how you can do a nice long beach walk on the sand or into the water. There isn't a ton of beach to hang on but I'm guessing this also changes depending on the time of year. I couldn't give it 5 stars because it is very easy to find garbage and broken glass in the shallows of the water. Just not really kid friendly in that way. The water is shallow very far out which can be nice for water sports. I would say depending on the day it would be very college party heavy and you may want to avoid if you have a small young family. It is a beautiful, well maintained beach attraction. I had a very pleasant visit there twice while on vacation. It would be nice if there were some benches along the way from the car park to the beach access for those of us who are not in perfect health to be able to sit and rest. In spite of the difficulty I had getting to the beach and back, I thoroughly enjoyed my visits. I have a bad back but still enjoy getting out. A bench makes all the difference in the world. I'm certain that pregnant women, parents with young children, or even someone who just has to carry a cooler and several bags and chairs would also appreciate a few benches...

I had my husband's celebration of life and cross over. I loved it having the Bishop jon and the family Jesse adored at Jesse's side water beach and trees. A cool out to never forget and.loads of happy memories and tears I will always come back every year now.
