Worst experience ever! The older lady that sold the big packets was so rude when asked questions about how the games worked. Then later in the night, I went and got a water from my car and the same lady came and started to yell at me talking about how I can't bring my water in. I asked her then why did I see others with McDonalds cups and the family that was sitting next to me had a gatorade and powerade bottle out on the table. She then became very rude and stated "there is a sign for a reason, did you not read it." Not very happy at all about my experience here just because of the lady! On August 22, 2025, we used the Canon City VFW Post 4061 hall for a celebration of life dinner and gathering to honor our son who passed away due to severe injuries due to a motorcycle accident. Peter, Mary, and the entire team went way above and beyond what was required in every way to ensure our memorial dinner for our family and friends went just as we had hoped and planned. I went there to blay bingo with à group of friends at the last minute on Friday night. . The establishment was very clean. The people working there as well as other bingo goers were very nice. They have good food. The place accommodates people with physical limitations. If there was an individual that would need additional assistance, all they would need to do is ask, and someone would be willing to help.
