Cañon Plaza — Local services in Cañon City

Stopped by the Dollar general in search of rubber cement. I'm not one that visits the dollar stores primarily because of the disarray in the aisles as well as the quality of the product to buy. I was shocked to see that the aisles had all their items only to find out that the person doing it was the manager because nobody else whould do it. I really hope that she is a owner of the store itself and if not the owner should really be quite appreciative she is the only reason why the store has a three-star. Otherwise the store is in relatively decent shape though missing items were the better part of some shelves what was missing was clearly labeled. The cashier on the other hand by the name of Felix definitely drags the business to the Mudd if he doesn't ever see another customer it would be the best thing for everyone. The attitude of a 2yo between squishing every item and tossing it to the side while scanning to being shown up by the plastic he was filling who was more aware of the product content and volume causing a scene when asked to refrain from assistance to further go to not even acknowledge me as I said to have a good day. My only reason to go back into that stores to see if he's still is out...

Wow boy there is a whole bunch going on here. But if you find yourself in canyon City Colorado on vacation or just moving here or passing through and you're a little tight on money. I really just become to love this store there's just a little bit of just about everything and it cost just about nothing. now I might have fallen off of a truck or might have got damaged a little bit or the writing might be a little off or I don't know why they can sell it so much cheaper than everywhere else but it's awesome. So if you're throwing a party or go into a party or you need to buy some cheap stuff to keep the kids occupied driving in the car across the country there's just about anything you might need for a cheaper price than you would want to pay at a gas station I'm sure. In today's day and age everybody could use an opportunity to save anything they can. Now there's also an anytime fitness h&r block which I do not advise going there. City market Pizza Hut and one of my favorite stores on the planet BIG R BABBY. LOL SORRY I GET A LITTLE EXCITED JUST THE COUNTRY BOY...

This is a very busy place! If you're as handicapped as I am you will find it very difficult to get around here, both inside most of the stores and definitely the parking lot and sidewalk areas. There are a few hidden jems, such as the 16th Street Cafe, which has indoor/outdoor dining...and although they are normally very busy I've found very kind people at the Dollar Store who've had to rush after me when I left my wallet at the counter. City Market is a good place to shop, but also very, very busy! You've also got Pizz Hut, Spectrum and Anytime Fitness located in the plaza and probably a few other stores that I don't remember because I don't really shop here that frequently because of my disabilities. So my suggestion to you would be to plan ahead (disabled or not)! And be very careful, people are driving in and out of here a lot and I wouldn't want to see or hear anyone or anything...
