Calimesa Inn Motel — Attraction in Calimesa

I am writing this review based on a friend who was staying at this Motel. The room itself was okay however, there is a female employee who appears to be from somewhere in a very bad area of Africa and I mean that in the nicest way possible.. She is pure evil... I had a crisis outside and I begged her to call 911 as she stood in the lobby doorway and watched what was going on and she refused.... I had to basically try to run to enter the lobby and make the phone call myself because I had been assaulted, and my cell phone was taken when in a crisis situation... After the sheriff's arrived, she lied to the deputies and told them that I had beat someone up.... I am not that kind of person....Luckily, she's not very smart because it was on a recording and the deputies were able to determine that I didn't beat anybody up so she is just an evil evil human being. If they didn't have a recording going I would have been taken to jail for a physical assault because of her and believe you me I would have sued that Motel and taken them down...She works there probably mostly on the day shift and she should be fired immediately by the owner. I confronted her about why she refused to call 911 for me, and she started flipping me off with her arms she is literally insane.... I told her her job as an employee is not to get involved in a crisis situation, but she needs to be able to pick up the phone and call 911 when asked.... So if you were literally being robbed and beaten to a pulp outside or being stabbed, they are not there to help you.... She called the manager who lives on the premises and he came over and he had refused to call 911 also basically his story was they don't want to get involved and I specifically told her and the manager and he's from the Middle East or something she's from Africa she mumbled gibberish at me and he could barely speak any English at all so that's not great either.... I don't believe either of them are probably legal citizens, but the manager's story was they don't want to get involved and I said you don't have to get involved in a crisis situation but your job as decent human beings is to call 911. Both of them should be fired immediately this happened yesterday, March 13th, 2024. I would not ever stay here even though it's a hundred a night basically find anywhere but this place, although I would recommend you not stay at Motel 6 in Redlands, California either. It's just as bad with druggies and hookers and everybody else I would rather sleep in my car in a park then pay to sleep in either of those two motels.... They should both be fired immediately because honestly I probably could sue them for her lying to the sheriff's deputies about what she claimed to see and I could have gone to jail for it when I'm a decent human being... I have never been to jail in my life and I sure as heck would not have wanted to start yesterday from some complete psychopath lying to...

BED BUGS FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND...OH MY...I checked in late on Thursday July the 3rd at 10:45PM after half a day at the office then I drive for 5 hrs I arrive at the Calimesa Inn. Well I bring dinner I bought from Stater Bros next door. I Have dinner and settle into bed at oh say 11:40pm and crash HARD. I am awakened by horrible itching and feeling things crawling on me. I jump up rip off the bed sheets and see little black things scurrying away to the edges of the mattress. I am in complete horror as I realize I am a victim of the "Infamous Blood Sucking Bed Bugs" I literately freak out and run to jump into a hot shower..thank goodness i brought a large bottle of Mens shower gel and proceed to scrub the filth of the nasty biters off me. I am also lucky from my own diligence to store all clothes and bags in the bathroom area due to what I have read online about easily bringing them home with me without knowingly doing so. I dress and check my baggage carefully then walk out at 2:30am. I leave the room card at the front desk window as the attendant was not there. The next day I called and reported all this to the desk-man and I was told I would get a call from the management as to a refund. I was called by the desk-man saying "Were sorry NO REFUND" although we are more than happy to comp you if you come back. Well needless to say I decided TO PASS on the most generous offer. I have done much research on this and my room had hard laminate flooring a hint they have had issues with the pest before. You see without carpeting there is less places for them to hide and lay eggs....YUCK..at any rate if you stay at the Calimesa Inn check the bed and make sure the matterss is in a "SEALED BED BAG" IF NOT YOU MIGHT BE EATEN ALIVE AND DRAINED OF ALL BLOOD... Really this is no joke...its a horrible experience...PLEASE BEWARE. Of course I will never come back..Sorry taking a pint of my blood without permission is not...

I recently stayed several days at the Calimesa Inn due to.... well, that's none of your business. What IS your business is my review of this place. I was pleasantly surprised at the Calimesa Inn. The couple who run the place are outstanding and very understanding and helpful. I wasn't expecting much, because in this particular area of the inland empire, most of the motels are completely overrun with tweakers who do nothing but make people uncomfortable and make noise all night. Riff raff can be anywhere, but the (I'm assuming) owner that is always on property really seems to keep a good (not creepy) eye on the establishment, which is honestly a good feeling. The housekeeping staff was excellent and if I knew the name of the lady who cleaned my room as I was checking out, I would give her proper credit. The rooms are comfortable, a little dated some might say, but they made a solid attempt at sprucing up the place with hardwood floors and nice color choices for paint in the guest rooms (mine was a nice beachy turquoise color). Not sure if all rooms are painted the same but I liked it. Showers are newly tiled and the water pressure is killer. Would have liked a larger TV, but I won't snivel about it because, hey... it worked. The AC worked great. And there was a microwave and mini fridge in room which I didn't expect. As decent as the motel itself is..... the best part about the place was the staff. Very friendly and the main reason I will be staying there again soon. I've been to swanky hotels that would have been really nice if not staffed by pretentious and judgy shmucks. You won't find those types at the Calimesa Inn... in fact I liked the Owner so mucb I gave him my last Klondike bar when I checked out. And I don't typically go giving away my ice cream bars, so, there...
