We've been meaning to try The Haus Bistro for some time as we have heard good things about it, and we finally made it this evening. Let me just say, we were blown away! The food was absolutely AMAZING! I ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel with spaetzle and red cabbage. The mushroom/onion gravy on the pork was the best I've ever had. My husband had the flat iron steak which came with potatoes and vegetables. He too was extremely happy with his meal. For desert, we shared the Banana Nut Bread Fosters. It was absolutely bursting with flavor, especially the spiced rum flavor. The only thing my husband complained about was the fact that we only ordered one dessert to share.

The restaurant looks very unassuming on the outside, but inside the decor is really nice and the restaurant is very inviting. Our server was friendly and attentive, and many of those dining seemed to be regulars that were familiar with the staff. We were fortunate to pick a night that they had a live blues band playing. The band was very good, and it really added to the atmosphere.

The prices were about right for a nicer sit-down restaurant $19 for the Jaeger Schnitzel and $28 for the steak.

Overall, we highly recommend The Haus Bistro, and we are already planning when we can go back again! It is by far the best restaurant we've eaten at since moving...

We were looking for a place with an excellent menu, great beverage choices and dog friendly outdoor seating. The HAUS bistro did not disappoint. From their SoCal local beer selection, their cocktails, their great entrees and that amazingly flaky apple streusel this place hit everything out of the park. Locals seemed to frequent the place and while we were from out of town we felt very welcomed. The staff is courteous and professional and made our visit awesome. A note about the kitchen staff: I don't know what kind of scheme they're running back there but each of the plates we had were phenomenal. The orzo, the Salmon the fresh vegetables and my flat iron steak were all cooked to perfection. Honestly, the way they prepared the veggies blew me away and I don't often look to the vegetables as reason for why I would return to the restaurant. It was the perfect meal. I can only imagine that the kitchen staff consists of a band of retired European chefs who wanted to retire to Yucaipa, a major Southern California OHV and mountain biking hotspot while keeping up their skills. That's not to say the menu was old fashioned, I'm just saying these folks are talented and they pay close attention to every element on the plate. Definitely will be recommending this...

This was our second time eating here. The first time, I ordered the flat steak, which was very tender and flavorful. My wife ordered lamb chops, which she loved. This time, we both ordered the flat steak and the spinach and artichoke appetizer. It took quite a while for the appetizer to be delivered, and the waitress apologized. The dip itself was tasty, but the Haus bread pieces that came with it were so saturated in oil. The potato chips were overcooked and hard. The steaks took a long time to be served, and my beer was now almost gone. This time, the steaks, while tasty, were tough and chewy. I would have liked more of the sauce that covered the steak. I liked the potatoes but my wife didn't, she thought they had a bad taste. I rated it a four because the first visit, the steak was superior to the two we received on this visit. The service was slow, considering it wasn't that busy. I didn't appreciate that they charged an additional fee of 3% if you use a credit card. Our bill before the fee was $82. I owned 2 restaurants, and we never charged a separate credit card fee. It's the cost of doing business and should be factored into your pricing. Whose walking around with that much...

Frist time experience the exterior was ok kind of rough looking needs painting the interior has a cool vibe could be better 🤔 I was meeting friends last minute who were already sitting I took the hostes a few min to acknowledge us standing next to our party we had to gesture to come assist us .. the waitress seemed pre occupied and wasn’t the best server she mixed up our order their was a delay in fixing order Even thought the place want crowded with guest dinning out waitress want attentive with drinks refills clearing finished dishes asking how everything was just a huge disappointment the chips were over cooked tasted burnt the hamburger was good juicy the fries were ok nothing special the music playing was ok it was nice they were trying to be uniform with their outfits our waitress did acknowledge us when leaving which was nice just such the experience would have been better to prove their was something special about their restaurant 🤔my friends had dined there before commented on the service wasn’t up to par if anyone in management cares to know from this restaurant that you need to retrain your team to take pride .

"Hidden Gem " In a small shopping center a must try restaurant . Went on a Saturday night . The food was delicious! For appetizers, tired the fried pickels and the pretzels very good must try them both . Highly recommend the lamb it was cooked perfectly tender and flavorful. The stacked Oscar with scallops was perfect as well. I recommend it as well, and a must try dessert the banana foster so good ! Customer service is outstanding, greeted right away after walking in and seated right away ! The waitress was very nice and was on top of everything, constantly checking to make sure everything was good or if anything was needed. Atmosphere is a great casual and comfortable homey feel . good amount of seating small tables big tables . Low seating and high seating available. As well as a small bar with bar seating available. Parking! Can be hard to find. It is a small shopping center. Parking is limited with other restaurants and businesses around Great spot to have a date night. There is even an arcade place next door to have dinner and then go place some old school arcade games
