We've been going to Cayucos Cellars for well over a decade, over the course of their 3 locations (downtown Cayucos, what was the former Moonstone Cellars location in Cambria and their current location). Their wine is always delicious and Paige is an absolutely fantastic hostess. Our personal favorites are the Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo. A chilled glass of their Verdejo is absolutely refreshing during summer after a long stroll along Moonstone Beach boardwalk and beach activities.

If we're lucky, we sometimes get to say hi to their resident corgi. As with other places in Cambria, visiting Cayucos Cellars and chatting with Paige was a family tradition of ours up until recently. Although we moved to Texas, we'll be back to visit in...

Their tasting selection is good, but a bit too limited on the lighter side. Also the bags they provide are not reliable. I got 2 bottles and I lost one because it didn't hold for literally 5 minutes.

Update: Indeed I visited them today and they offered me another bottle to replace the one I lost. Raising 1 star for that. Can't make it 5 bacause I wasn't able to taste the wines the caught my attention and lead me to...

Went here in mid June. The first wine they served was a not bad vermintino. Then we had four reds that tasted awful. Like a combo of grape juice and vermouth. It was the worst tasting i ever had. One person in our party got up and left — I finished with the third guest thinking that the quality would improve each pour, but it never did. Will never go back. Stolo is a short drive from town and...

So we visited this place yesterday and we were really happy and pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by Paige. One of the most down to earth people we've met. Very knowledgeable since this is her family's business. The grenache is amazing! Cant say enough good things.
