Went to this place on Sunday around noon, deliberately because of the fantastic reviews for great service and tasty and fresh food. The service was nice, hospitable, we were seated right away, the table was clean, a gentleman brought water and a doggie biscuit to our puppy, food was delivered quick too. The quality did not meet our expectations. Each one of us ordered different dish that was either recommended by the staff or in reviews: omelette with avocado - not impressed, the avocados were brownish; eggs Benedict California style - eggs overdone, watery; hash browns in two entries were completely dry, tasteless; eggs ranchero - dry, no salt; the Mimosa had a strange, bitter dull taste: either the sparkling wine or the OJ were from a couple days before. Giving 3 🌟 only for the service and because they have two planters with milkweed, attracting...

We were driving to the Antique store in the same shopping center, and we stopped to get some breakfast. The had indoor and outdoor seating. The inside kinda spelt funky. So we sat outside. But other than that, the restaurant is VERY kid and wheelchair user friendly. The service was fast and our waiter was incredibly sweet. They didn't have a lot of publicity, but they deserve some more. The food was INCREDIBLE! My mom and aunt got the grits with their meal and they said it was very good. I got the cinnamon roll fench toast, and OH MY GOSH, it was sooooo good that I need to make it. Service was good and fast. She made sure our drinks were always filled to the top, and we had everything we need. I...

You guys, I just ordered the California eggs Benedict. It's the best vegetarian eggs Benedict I've ever had! Grilled (good) tomatoes with garlic, ripe hass avocado, perfect hollandaise, perfectly poached eggs, whole wheat English muffin and fresh fruit. I always prefer to cook at home but this was worth paying for. Stellar, friendly service, great coffee and mellow atmosphere. All the benefits of fine dining with out the pretentious snobbery. My husband ordered traditional eggs Benedict and added grilled jalapenos and they didn't even make him feel like a weirdo about it and he got 2 fresh jalapenos, grilled like a pro. I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup, thanks for a...

We had a good experience at redwood cafe. We walked in right before a rush around 10am. We were seated, however we waited about 10 minutes without a menu or drinks offered until a young lady noticed and brought out menus. We then ordered our meals. Husband got French Toast plate, he says it was good, typical brekfast. I got the cake and eggs that came with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and either 2 bacons or 2 sausages. I liked my plate as well however it felt like 4 eggs rather than 2. Our toddler ordered from the kids meal and he enjoyed his meal too. We ordered hash browns on the side since none of the meals came with it. Overall it was good food, good service, and we understand there was a rush.

Oh my! Just a ways from this wonderful little cafe, is my daughter’s grave. Sometimes I just can not go up the hill and see her. It hurts too much. But here, I imagine her with me at the table enjoying a meal out close by where her body rests. With so much change and loss, a good meal that makes you feel whole always helps with the pain. This place is owner cooked, and is one of the best spots to stop on the coast of California. Try my favorite, eggs Benedict with crispy bacon, on a well toasted English muffin! Enjoy the view, the sun, and good, decent coffee. Hopefully your trip there is for happier moments then mine, but if comfort food is indeed what you seek then here, you shall find.
