The venue itself is exactly that- a pavilion to enjoy music. I came for the Avril Lavigne/ Simple Plan show, and want to give some detailed feedback on main topics for those considering coming to this venue.

Staying/ Driving: It is cheaper and less of a hassle to stay outside of Camden (I stayed in Philadelphia) and Uber to the show. HEADS UP- Uber WILL NOT do pick up after a sold out / packed show. My uber was cancelled 4 times, but there were people essentially scalping Uber, so my group was able to get home effortlessly for the price of the Uber from someone sitting outside the show who knew Uber would not be picking anyone up (very smart city move).

PRE GAME PRE GAME PRE GAME!!! Tall Boys are $20. Absolutely INSANE price. I didn't even consider purchasing any food from here, I just went home and paid the doordash fees. Pretty sure to be the level of drunk I became (it was my birthday, hello) I had about 5 or 6, so they got well over $100 from me alone that night.

Bags: Small and clear bags are the best - I did not bring any bags, just my phone, ID and myself, and had an effortless time at entry all the way to leaving. The less you bring, the better.

Bathrooms: Lines for the bathrooms that are inside and are the stalls is RIDICULOUS. Save yourself the hassle by looking around and seeing that there are extra bathrooms available, they're just upgraded port-a-potties. While people were standing in 25+ minute lines for the regular bathrooms, I could easily just go stand in front of any taken port-a-potty and had to only wait for that person to come out. They didn't have any lines at the extra bathrooms! None! but the regular bathrooms had lines so long it reached the concession stand area.

ChargeFuze: Available ONLY at one side of the venue inside the building are rentable charging ports. They are a max of $40 for 10 hours. They have 3 charging adapters, Type-C, iPhone and the older android charger. Highly recommend this - all of my devices were at low battery before Avril came on, and the rentable charge port was a lifesaver.

Lawn Seats: I prepaid the amount for 3 lawn chairs. The show started at 7, we arrived at 5pm, doors to the lawn/seating areas opened around 5:30. Definitely well spent and well worth the reservation. I scanned my tickets with an employee at a chair booth and then waited in line to get into the lawn. I had front row barricade seating for the lawn, and absolutely loved it. The chairs added the reassurance that I didn't have to stand all night, I could leave them where I sat when I left, and they're good "territory" markers so that people know there are people sitting in that area. Blanket sitters looked a little uncomfortable at times, but I preferred the chair so no hate on what you prefer.

Staff Interaction: All of the staff members and bartenders that I had the pleasure of meeting were kind, respectful and informative. I had to ask alcohol coordinators for the location of the charge banks, and they aided with no hesitation. The people serving drinks were professional and even though I was more and more intoxicated as the night went on, their attitude never changed to an annoyed tone which is appreciated- even though I wasn't causing any trouble myself.

Overall, I enjoyed the venue for my birthday because I was able to see someone I really enjoy perform and was able to enjoy myself for a small vacation. I don't think I would return to this venue if given an option just due to lack of transportation from a show and the concession prices, but it was fun and had what I needed...

I’ve been coming to this venue for 10+ years and never was I treated the way my father and I were at 2024 MMRBQ. We had been waiting in line for food for 10+ min when finally employees came to the window announcing our line was closed (there was no sign stating this). There were tons of people behind us. My dad is handicapped and cannot stand for long periods of time. Due to this, we were told to slide over to the next window to be helped. We did this, yet the guy we got in front of was livid. He accused us of cutting and wasn’t having it when we told him we were sorry and weren’t trying to do that, just simply following what we were told to do.

That guy ended up reporting us. Alcohol compliance arrived…all because my dad and I had a drink in our hand. We were there to celebrate my 30th bday: we shared a drink when we got in at 12:30. We each purchased one for ourselves to have around 3-3:30, which was the one still in our hands. My dad has his statements as proof.

We were compliant, didn’t argue or anything. When taken to the holding room, the main security was extremely rude and yelled at my dad in the face. He refused to take our BAC which I wanted to prove we were not “belligerent.”

No ID taken, no paperwork filled out, no case number; nothing was given to us. We were told we could not stay. They kicked us out and also refused to look for my dad’s cell phone. In the chaos my dad had put his cane and phone down- the only returned his cane.

My dad is an avid rock lover and loves sharing experiences of music with me. I watched my almost 60 year old father CRY because we were kicked out for no legitimate reason. Something he was looking forward to with me to celebrate was ripped away in the flash of our eyes.

While in the holding room, a father and son entered who could speak little to no English. A translator was there. The security guard who yelled at my dad (number 6247) said “I don’t have time for this bullshit” and stormed out slamming the door. Simply because they couldn’t speak English well. To sum it up, there was some sort of altercation that occurred and during this an employee pushed the son. Yet, the father and son were being thrown out. They were traveling from Florida to see their favorite band, The Offspring.

So, not only were my father and I treated wrongly, another father and son were also. How many more people got thrown out wrongly? Neither of these situations are okay. We will be reporting everything on Monday; but with no paperwork or case number we are very worried.

Freedom Mortgage- do better. Fire that racist security guard. You allow passed out drunks to stay yet kick out compliant people over miscommunication in a food line. If others have been mistreated here please speak up.

I was in attendance for The Killers concert on 9/7/24. The show itself was amazing and I was excited to be able to cross another concert off of my bucket list. My rating for this venue does not reflect what I would consider a 5 star performance by the band. However, this was my first time at this venue and at this point am considering it my last time at this venue. I want to be very clear when I say that I totally understand that inflation has caused the cost of everything to go up. $50 for parking, $10 for a hot dog, $9.50 for a slice of pizza, $17 for nachos, and $11 for a soda is absolutely ridiculous! I know this might be a ridiculous question, but why would you not have any forks on the premises? When I asked for a fork at the one food stand they looked at me like I had 2 heads. I was told that I was supposed to use my hands to eat what was left of the brisket and soggy nachos in the bottom of the cheap paper container that they were served in. This would have made a mess, so I ended throwing it (and money) away. The woman who was at the top of section 101 checking tickets this particular evening was also a real joy. I went to walk into the section with my hands obviously full of items I was carrying back to my seat and she threatened to call security because I couldn’t reach into my pocket to get my cell phone to show her my ticket. I did let her know the exact row and seat number I was going to, but she still continued to be hostile. Isn’t one of your venue expectations “no verbal abuse”? Threatening to call security on someone who has their hands full and cannot put things down to pull a cell phone out of their pocket is ridiculous. There was also no place to put anything down in order to comply with the request to pull the phone out of my pocket. I told her I would go down to the seat, empty my hands, and come back to show her the ticket and she again threatened to call security. My mother left the section to use the restroom and on her way back into the section, she was greeted by this same ticket checking woman who was not going to allow her to go back to her seat because she didn’t have her ticket (which was on my cell phone). When my mother told the woman that she would go retrieve the ticket from the seat and then come back and show her the ticket, the woman scolded her like a child and said “don’t ever do that again”. A little customer service would...
