Aquarium is beautiful! I went as a chaperone for my son's class field trip, and the kids absolutely loved it! The exhibits are large enough for many children (and adults) to view together. The entire place is clean, comfortable, and well designed. There are plenty of places to sit and walkways are large enough for the large volume of people in the space. There are lots of exhibits where you can interact with and touch sea creatures (starfish, sting rays, sharks, and more). The kids (and my) favorite part was the Shark Tunnel and the Shark Bridge. The tunnel allows you to walk underwater and have sharks swim above and around you. The bridge is a durable, heavy duty rope net bridge over the shark tank, allowing you to see the sharks swimming under you. Overall, a very exciting trip that I would...

Walked the waterfront while on our visit at the aquarium. It was probably the most enjoyable part of our trip!

We took the ferry over to Philly, then back. It only cost like $10 per person, and it gave us a break from walking (since it was quite hot outside).

We purchased water for $1 a bottle as compared to $5.50 inside the aquarium, so it was nice not to have to pay over $15 for Walmart water!! LOL

Only thing I didn't like about walking along the waterfront was that you DO get approached by people asking for money, and we did see a man sleeping on the bench. It felt safe because there were lots of other folks around and it was in the afternoon. Not sure how safe it might feel at night...

Either way, I'd definitely recommend walking the waterfront. The view of the Ben Franklin Bridge...

Nice, we sat for hours. Met and talked we people passing by, my husband educated them on where to get the best cheese steaks in Philly. We were at the Aquarium, there was so much to see I really enjoyed myself, and so did the grands, my sons and wives. We went to Bains, the food was really good, I was so hungry, we sat outside and ate, covid19, you could eat indoors, but we sat outside. We sat there for hours chatting and chewing, with one son&wife, and kids played. Bains closed their doors and we were still there. My other son and his family caught the ferry back to Philly, next time we'll consider taking the ferry. While sitting there we saw a lot folk all dressed up, probably attending a wedding, or party. All in all it was a great day to be...

Live in Philly but made the short trek across the river to Wiggins Park on the Camden waterfront to see Sheila E. give a free to the public concert. The concert was great as was the venue. Wiggins Park is a nice alternative to Philly’s Penn’s Landing as it’s a bit more peaceful and you have a nice view of the Philly skyline. I deducted 1 star because Sheila’s concert drew a very large crowd and I don’t recall seeing a significant police or security presence, especially in light of the fact there was an incident involving a gun on Independence Day. So, 5 stars for Sheila; 4 stars for Wiggins Park.

This aquarium is a lot of fun but expensive to get into. They're also now doing security checks like airport TSA, so the line to get in is slow and long. Also very disappointed with the cleanliness of the tanks. The last time I went (late January, 2022), water in most of the large tanks was cloudy and murky. For what they charge for admission, I would think they could do a better job keeping the tanks clean. If you hate crowds, lots of hyper kids, potential exposure to viruses, and no free tables when you buy your overpriced lunch, go during the week -- it's mobbed on the weekends.

Had an excellent time at the aquarium! The shark tank was terrific, and seeing all those sharks swimming around was super cool. The starfish exhibit was also fun, as it allowed us to touch them up close. The kids had a blast at the interactive tanks where they could gently stroke the sand sharks with two fingers. And the shark tunnel? Wow! Being surrounded by sharks swimming right above us was such a wild experience. Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with learning and fun that I won’t forget!
