We had the pleasure of meeting the owners of Little Oak Cafe at the recommendation of our wedding venue. Our initial meeting was so comfortable and reassuring that we didn't explore any other catering options; we signed with them that very week. Little Oak Cafe stood out for their exceptional level of customization. David, in particular, was incredibly accommodating, patiently working with us to create a menu tailored to our preferences.

Their team took care of every aspect of our wedding, from addressing special requests to accommodating dietary restrictions, all while ensuring we felt at ease and relaxed throughout the process. The feedback on the food was overwhelmingly positive. We made time to inhale food as well and thoroughly enjoyed it! We opted for a vegetarian menu, and it exceeded our expectations. Both vegetarians and omnivores raved about the food, with many guests not even realizing the menu was entirely vegetarian. The eggplant lasagna and butternut squash bruschetta received the most compliments, while my husband and I enjoyed the spaghetti squash with truffle oil and oat milk. The fall-themed menu was a perfect fit for our autumn wedding. Moreover, their pricing was more than reasonable.

During our search for a rehearsal dinner venue, we discovered that Little Oak Cafe also hosted closed events. We decided to host a pizza-making party for our rehearsal dinner, and it was a fantastic way to kick off the wedding festivities. Guests had a blast creating their own pizzas under the guidance of Chef David. He even accommodated our vegan and lactose-intolerant guests by ordering vegan cheese, ensuring everyone could enjoy their food. The appetizers were also delectable, and having the entire venue to ourselves allowed guests to mingle and get to know each other.

Another noteworthy aspect that left a lasting impression on me was the genuine happiness and pleasant demeanor of all the employees at Little Oak Cafe. It was evident that the positive and welcoming atmosphere among the staff directly influenced the overall experience. Their relaxed and easygoing approach not only made us feel more at ease but also contributed to a better overall vibe for all the guests.

The calm and reassuring demeanor of the Little Oak Cafe team helped alleviate the pre-wedding jitters and typical concerns every couple faces before their big day. Despite not being specifically advertised as a vegan/vegetarian catering company, they exceeded our expectations in every regard. Little Oak Cafe is a creative, helpful, and truly exceptional catering company. We put all of our trust in them for our rehersal dinner, as our wedding caterer, and our bartenders and they more than delivered. We could not be more impressed with Little Oak Cafe. Little Oak catered our wedding this September, and covered all aspects of food from start to finish. From tasty passed apps and a stunning charcuterie spread, to extremely delicious dinner entrees (with options for omnivores, pescatarians, and vegetarians) and a TRULY phenomenal carrot cake, we were blown away by the quality and flavor of the food from start to finish.

Beyond the food, the service David and his team provided was remarkable. They set up a full evening of food for 160 guests in a remote field (and in 90 degree heat and sweltering humidity), and continued making sure everyone was fed and taken care of throughout the evening — even as the heavens opened up and rain and lightning poured down for well over an hour. The Little Oak team didn't flinch, and braved every type of element to make sure the evening continued. We can't thank them enough for making sure our wedding could go on as planned, even when mother nature had her own ideas.

Above all, the Little Oak team understands that have delicious food (at utterly reasonable prices) is just the start. Little Oak treated our family as their own, and were a rock for us when other caterers would have thrown in the towel (seriously, it was POURING rain at our wedding). David listened to our needs, was so flexible and accommodating, and made us feel completely assured that things would go off without a hitch during a weekend when we had so many other logistics to tackle. To say they went above and beyond in taking care of us (and our extended family) would be a complete understatement.

We cannot recommend Little Oak highly enough to cater your next event (and, of course, for your next lunch). David and team, thank you so much for surpassing all of our expectations. We're looking forward to coming in for a meal next time...

I can not say enough about Little Oak Cafe!! They catered our wedding at Flamig Farm and I wish I could give them a hundred stars. David was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with, I called a bunch of different food vendors and he hands down was clearly the person we wanted when I first spoke with him. He listened, was super calm, easy and just like an awesome all around person. All the staff who helped cater the wedding were the nicest people ever, we got so many compliments on the food and how amazing it was (I wish I had more food specific pictures but I shared some of the wedding too so you can get a vibe it was 160 people). One of our guests runs a restaurant in Nantucket and literally said the carrot wedding cake Little Oak made was the best cake he'd ever had in his life! It rained pretty hard at our wedding and I can't say enough about how blown away I was by the service, I felt like every time I looked up someone would be there asking what I needed, and everyone adjusted as needed with the rain. Also worth noting that we were coming from out of town (Seattle) and when we came in to meet everyone week of the wedding David literally gave us some pre made meals cause he said he knew our week would be pretty hectic - the absolute nicest people ever.
