Bagel Deli — Restaurant in Canton

This place isn't really my cup of tea, but I'm really glad places like this exist. If the Gilmore Girls lived in Canton, this would be their Luke's Diner. Yes, the owner is a little gruff, but he seems to really care about his community and seems like he's a straight shooter. I think he's probably very successful with the male clientele who seem to be what filtered in and out when I was there. Bagels were very good and I really liked the interesting selection of bottled drinks, local things and some unusual things I hadn't seen before. I was thrilled to get the Harney and Sons lemonade. I liked the murals on the wall. The pricing was all over the map. I felt that what I ordered was super expensive, but when I looked at the menu there were some other areas where I thought he could have charged a little more and made the price of what I got a little less. I personally would have liked to have seen more vegetables on the menu. He made my sandwich with onions when I requested it without, but it was still okay, I could pick them out and they were pretty good. I like to have my eggs alone, and the other sandwich toppings on top. They were all mixed together here, but I realize that others may prefer this. Maybe someday I'll come back for something a little more basic than what I got. I wish this business great success it is a community treasure. I'd also love to see something like a whole grain bagel thin, but somehow I get the sense this guy just won't do that....but...

My daughters and I have been going to the Bagel Deli for years. Staff has been officially adopted into our family of favorite eateries...Bagels are fresh and tasty. Coffee is always available. And there is an espresso machine if you want to order specialty beverages. There is also a well stocked fridge with assorted cold drinks. Recently I ordered 3 trays of assorted wraps for my daughter's baby shower( chicken salad, ham and cheese, veggie, and hummus). Wraps were generously stuffed, sliced and individually wrapped and placed on trays for us. We had a lot of compliments on how tasty everything was. A big hit for sure! Looking forward to placing another party order at the Bagel Deli. Thank you Keith, Paige and staff for making these delicious treats. ...

My boyfriend's mother brought us bagels from here last year. They were delicious. A month or so down the road, I was craving fresh tasty bagels and asked her where she got them? The rest is history.

I pick up bagels and cream cheese here regularly -- sometimes as often as weekly, sometimes every other month -- and I am never disappointed.

Their cream cheese is definitely worth adding to your order! The strawberry is delicious, with big chunks of yummy strawberry strewn in with the small flecks. I haven't yet tried their other flavors.

I also haven't tried their sandwiches -- yet! But will be sure to comment on them...
