Life is defined by a series of conflicts and resolutions that separate and delineate the various portions of our experienced time. Conflicts, and conflict resolution, allow us to experience our existence. As such, let me tell you a tale of conflict, and of conflict resolution.
My nine year old daughter has had her birthday party booked here for about a month or so. When my wife booked this party, she ALSO booked a Disney Princess experience, through Discovery Playhouse but provided by a 3rd party. Apparently, that 3rd party needs a notification of such events at least two weeks in advance.
Imagine my consternation when, upon arrival, I was notified by now VERY distraught nine year old and wife the Belle would not, in fact, be attending. They were devastated...they were experiencing conflict, as it were. My wife told me that, for reasons unknown, the 3rd party had never been contacted.
As I prepared to unleash righteous fury on behalf of my wife, distraught daughter, and bank account, I met a gentleman who offered resolution. Michael is the Director, and along with his Operations Manager, Mary, we very quickly discovered that his quick action and the actions of his team was already remedying our situation.
Michael said the magic words that saved my wife and daughters day, and my blood pressure: "I've already talked to Belle. She's at another engagement, but she is ON HER WAY. "
I won't go into the rest of the actions that Michael, Mary, and his NEW shift leader took to save our day. Suffice to say, we will be back, often, and we will be booking additional parties.
Conflict is life. It is the resolution to conflict, and the care that Michael and his team extended us, that made this segment of life thoroughly enjoyable.
The best review I can leave is from the mouth of a 9 year old who just danced the ballroom song from Beauty and the Beast with Belle herself:
" Mommy, this was the...

From imaginative play areas to educational exhibits, there’s something for kids of all ages to enjoy.
The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The playhouse is clean, well-organized, and designed with kids’ curiosity in mind. Our son had a blast exploring, and we loved seeing him so engaged. The fact that we’re already looking forward to making the drive again speaks volumes about how much we enjoyed it!

Read moreWe were traveling from TN to MO and needed a place for our 2 year old and almost 4 year old to burn off some energy on the long car ride. This was a different route than we normally take but worth it. Both our kids had a blast. We have been to several places like this but what made this place stand out was its diversity of "exhibits" and how detailed it was. The bank had an ATM and lock boxes and a teller window. The grocery store had a scanning (beep and all) belt, shopping carts and lists of things to find. There was a play house, water room, and tons of little experiments for them to try. My youngest loved the art room. Upstairs was geared for more older kids (so it says) but both my kids couldn't get enough of the real plane and stage for acting/dancing. We have officially decided to come this way from now on to give our kids an amazing place to play. The only downside, they want to be...
