This is not a spa, but a massage assembly line. Clients are worked into a schedule one on top of the other. In fact the guy up front called me not once, but twice before two separate appointments asking me if I could come in sooner. My wife and I went the first time and we wound up having a couples massage, although we didn't book appointments that way. My wife requested light to medium pressure, but got pressure that was too hard, similar to what another reviewer wrote. She hurt for over a week later. When she told the guy at the front desk about her challenges he implied she probably never got deep tissue massages. He was visibly agitated rolling his eyes as my wife said the pain lasted more than a few days like he was suggesting. We have experience getting massages, and my wife works in the spa environment. What surprised her was there are no intake forms to let the massage therapist know if there are any issues or concerns. They use a picture of the human torso with marks on them due to language barriers. In my second massage, the massage therapist spent the better part of 20 minutes massaging the back of my neck. First through the sheet, then directly on the skin. He would work my back muscles then come back to my neck. And he didn't work my front shoulders. Then he massaged the front of my legs quickly through the blanket and said he was done. My wife said her therapist kept applying too much pressure and used her elbows to massage. My wife would have to tell the therapist to lighten up frequently and to use her hands not elbows. Plus her massage therapist used way too much oil during the massage. The website says massage therapists are skilled. It doesn't say they are certified. Beware. We gave them a second chance. We won't...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I 100% agree with the post from Taylor E on 11/12/19. I had my 55 units of dysport On 11/25/19. I've been getting botox, dysport etc for over 15 years . Ive been getting 20 units of botox for my crows feet and a couple units in a scar between my eyes and its always worked perfect. Stephanie did try to sell me more. When a customer tells you what they're used to and have been doing for 20 years, let it go. If I wanted to buy more I would, I live in Rancho Santa Fe and could afford it. I get it so often and for so many years, that at 55 I dont have deep crows feet to treat and my muscles in my face stay weak from years of use. The reason she tries to sell you more I feel is because they water it down. Ive only had one other place that did this in 15 years. When you're a long time user of these injections, you can tell if they cheated you. I also agree that her injection technique is sub-par. I even said it felt like she gave me a shot in my eyebrow, In 15 years, nobody has ever injected there. Stephanie was also very sick that day. She shouldn't be exposing others to what was more than a cold and since I have a genetic immune defect, it was dangerous for me. This place was the WORST!! Its been 3 weeks since my 55 units of Dysport and I have ZERO results. I mean ZERO. Maybe I and the Taylor E that reviewed got the vial they watered down too much since ours was done around the same time. Dont waste your money, time and the stress of the up-sell. Its sad because their business practice will put a stain on the spa portion of the spa which is very nice. The botox section just rents space from the spa. Very...
Read moreMy fiance and I scheduled a 60 minute couples massage . I was nervous only because I had never had a massage and never been to a spa before . But boy did they not disappoint! As soon as we walked in it smelled great , the ambience was very calming and everyone was so sweet . Both receptionists were so nice and even suggested where I could get my nails done ! The waiting room was just as calming ( some people waiting were a little too comfortable there but I guess it means its a good spa !) The decor was beautiful and be music was so relaxing . I thought it would get annoying , but it never did . We only were waiting about 10 minutes before we were taken to our room . The only issue I had was the male massage therapist ( may have title wrong ) spoke very quickly and had a heavy accent so some things were hard to understand . Other than that we had no issues . Both of them ( we got a male and female) were so professional and amazing ! They always asked if the pressure was ok , or if the towels were too hot . Never did I feel like I was being exposed too much or that I was in an uncomfortable position . My fiance confirmed after we got dressed . When it was all done they waited outside our room and had water waiting for us . It was the best relaxing experience I have had in a long time . Both my fiance I have decided to come back monthly so we can unwind together , especially as it gets closer to our wedding ! I would HIGHLY recommend , especially of your second guessing getting one . It was well worth it and very affordable ! And if you have questions , just call and ask ! They are...
