When I first pulled into the parking lot, I noticed there was not much parking up front, but my goodness, there's an abundance in the back. We walked in and I instantly saw a clean and refreshing place. Ms. Jenny quickly checked us in, and we were off to our handicap accessible room. I walked in and noticed a stench that I couldn’t ignore. I went back to the front desk and reported the smell. Ms. April, the hotel manager, quickly went to see if she could smell it too. Unfortunately, she did and assured me she would find a more suitable place. Unfortunately, the room she had available was not handicap accessible, but I would overlook that for a nice room without a smell. Thankfully, she found me a room on the first floor, which I was happy about since that’s where I wanted to be in the first place. When I walked in, the room smelled great, and the bathroom was clean. The linen was clean, the beds were comfortable, but unfortunately, our microwave was dirty. The room had: a Holy Bible, a tour book, a list of restaurants, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, an iron, an ironing board, four large towels, four small towels, four hand towels, and lots of light. As I was bringing in my bags, Ms. Jenny brought my credit card to me. To my surprise, I left it at the front desk. Thank Goodness for honest people! Everything else was going great until we came in during a thunderstorm. Unfortunately, I assume our window leaked, and the air conditioner had water above it and was no longer working. I reported the issue to Ms. Jenny. She verified, then stated that it would be better for us to move and found me a room across the hall. Of course, I didn’t want to move, but I was happy she made a quick decision and found us a room nearby. The room we moved to had two beds instead of one, which was fine since we would only stay one more night due to more rain predictions. The outdoor pool was open and clean. We enjoyed it daily until it got too breezy. Pool towels are available as you head to the pool, so there's no need to take them from your room. The pool is safe since only those with a key can enter. The breakfast room was clean and well-stocked. Although I am a vegan, there weren’t many options for me, but this hotel has a wide range for everybody compared to other places. I enjoyed fresh fruit and coffee and had some oatmeal one morning. Overall, there was a wide variety, and the staff were professional and always ready to help. I wish our plans were not cut short because I enjoyed staying at this hotel. When I spoke to the front desk clerk, Miss Monica, and explained that I would check out early, she said I needed to go through Booking to change my date. I explained that I’ve changed my date several times and usually have to deal directly with the hotel. She called Ms. April, and Ms. April agreed that they would waive the early checkout fee. In return, I wanted to ensure I left this positive review because they deserve it! I can not say enough good things about the professional hotel staff and the great hospitality we received. My child has special needs, and everyone was so friendly to her. One day, she left the dining area ahead of me, and I heard Ms. April ask her to wait for me. I was not far behind her, but knowing that someone was looking out for her warmed my heart. Thank you all for being so kind and considerate to us. Your kindness shines bright; I will gladly stay there if I ever return! As a side note, I saw three different rooms and stayed in two. That alone speaks volumes to how much they appreciate their customers' satisfaction. Thank you so much!!!

Comfortable stay… Last Thanksgiving holiday we spent at this place for three days while visiting Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The room had a nice décor and was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The employees were very helpful and friendly. Additionally, it is situated close to a good number of eateries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is a location that I would heartily recommend.

-Pool is closed -Breakfast doesn’t start until 0600, while competitors in the area start at least 30 minutes earlier. -There’s a side door that’s off the hinge that slams loudly each time someone leaves/enters and it was loud enough to hear from our room. It also provides access to the hotel without a key, so security is compromised. -Hotel overall is decently nice and well kept.
