Called and ordered 5 lemon bars with a manager to be picked up on a Sunday. Called again to confirm the order with a manager and she confirmed the pick up. When I arrived to pick them up they were closed due to no electricity. I can understand the circumstances, however I do not understand why I wasn't given a call to let me know so I didn't drive all the way there. When I spoke to an assistant manager today she looked at me sideways like she was offended when I asked politely if there was anything she could do to make it right. She only replied with how they've been going through alot (wrong answer) I simply told her what happened and that in the future they should call the customer, apologize and let them know of the circumstances. She agreed, but again said that her hands were tied in being able to offer anything free. I've been in the restaurant industry for 21 years and there's a right and wrong way to handle these types of situations so you don't end up getting a terrible review. So far great coffee (medium roast whole bean bag) and lemon bars. However, this also isn't the first time I've experienced subpar customer service. Either way, it's real simple, a genuine apology and something on the house. Still waiting on a phone call to resolve the matter so I can take this...
Read moreWonderful place to hang out and get work done or gather with friends! Hearing the first names of the morning's regulars highlighted the caring customer customer service of the staff and reminded me of a small town coffee shop. It's hard to find that kind of service nowadays. Their own expertly roasted coffee had a rich flavor with a smooth finish and was very aromatic. They have a wide variety of coffee blends that is sure to please everyone. The Early Bird burrito was wonderfully made and finished in a panini press, which perfectly grilled the soft tortilla. The food menu had a wide variety of amazing sounding meals that made it hard to decide. Prices were shockingly low for such incredible food and service! The building itself is old and rustic and provides a very cool and cozy atmosphere to enjoy the coffee and morning conversation. They were definitely busy, but the layout gives you plenty of private space, and the wait time was only a few minutes for a full breakfast. There's also tons of patio seating with awesome gas fire pits to keep you nice and warm.
It's just one of those places you want to hang out at all day! Definitely recommend giving them a try and I already can't wait...
Read moreFirst time here b/c of a coupon. I wouldn't have known it was here. We tried calling in our order, but no one answered for 10 mins. When we got to the coffee shop we immediately let the girl know we had a coupon, but she didn't seem enthusiastic about it. The coupon was buy a sandwich, get one free. There were no restrictions whatsoever. The lady said we couldn't do breakfast sandwiches even tho coupon didnt say there were restrictions. I asked if I can do an avocado sandwich, but she didn't even acknowledge what I said and offered a different sandwich with a one word statement. As we waited, we asked for the wifi password and she said its on the bottom if the receipt. We didn't get one so she said, would you like another receipt. I'm over here thinking, well we asked for the password and you said its at the bottom of the receipt, so my answer is yes. The customer service isn't just good. The food was decent, but not many options if you're vegetarian. I will not return anytime soon. Place...
