We got here at 9am it’s raining and cold today so scared many folks away….. after an hour we managed 3lbs of berries between two people! We searched high and low to at least get 5lbs. Not possible. Apparently they were picked out by 8:30am which is silly. But makes sense with the condition of the field.
I have been coming here for the past 10 years and every year the fields look worse and worse. I understand on their responses that they can’t keep up with maintaining the fields due to being a small team etc but this year was very poor. Almost surprised they are open to be honest.
