Carnation City Hall — Local services in Carnation

Had a very terrible experience. Timings on the site says 2 PM and that's what they close at too. We reached at 1.40 PM with our baby who is 1 month old for processing the passport. They didn't process it saying it goes beyond our 2 PM schedule. Technically if we reach at 1.40 and if there is still 20 mins - they should honour that? They says USPS person comes at 2 PM and they have cut off. In that case they should change the timings to 1.30 PM then to give that 30 mins levay.

I tried requesting saying its very difficult to come with small baby- however they didn't help us in anyways and asked us to come next day.

The receptionist or front desk admin named Stacy is rude. We were there for processing our passport and it seems either the staff is not well trained to give all information to applicants at one go or perhaps it’s intentional to not give all information at once so people coming back multiple times and makes these city employees look busy.
