I want to leave a review for CHRISTINA, a Licensed Beauty Advisor at the 8 Fenton Store in Cary. I had a session with her and she was outstanding, She is a true professional...one of those people who loves makeup and began her training as a little girl with her grandmother and went on to never stop learning. She knows product and she cares about the client. She makes you comfortable and makes it easy for you to explain what you are hoping to learn from her and what kind of product you are hoping to find. In my case, I didn't know how to put on make up or have any idea of what make up to use or what product to help with skin care and making my skin look its best. Christina has a wealth of understanding and I learned so much. She does not take the approach of a sales person. But rather, you feel that she is coming from the heart. She wants to help you. At the same time, she knows what is in the store and can really help you find the things that really work for you. I am not a person who easily feels comfortable in front of a mirror and in this kind of situation. But Christina made me feel completely comfortable and I knew that I was in great hands. I left knowing what to do to care for my skin, what product would work well for me. She had helped me put on makeup and I learned how to do it. I went home with what I needed and with the basic skills to put on makeup myself. I am ready to go to that family wedding and look pretty good. I really want to thank Christina from the heart. She is the kind of person whom Sephora should reward and nurture and promote. She is fantastic. If you are wondering who you could go see, give her a try, go see her. She is...
Read moreExtremely disappointed. Went into the store to return an online purchase, had the order on my Sephora app on my phone (which is where I purchased the product). When giving the product to return, I put in my phone number at the counter and gave the cashier the product I wished to return. She had to get assistance from the person next to her, not sure if she was a manager or what.. I definitely hope not, hindsight I should have asked… So for the whole “transaction” I could hear what she was telling her to input. There was no barcode on the order, just the order number which I showed her. I asked her if I needed to click the “start a return” on the app because I didn’t want to click that prematurely without knowing (was hoping this might would provide the barcode). She told the cashier “how about we do this” and told her to click “no receipt”. She went through the transaction telling her things that I questioned to myself and clearly made no sense and told me that the refund amount would be on a merchandise card and I asked why? She stated it was because it was over 30 days. Which is interesting because it was ordered August 26th and I was returning it September 9th.. which you could clearly see on the order. She was adamant that it wouldn’t allow her to refund to my credit card because it had been 30 days.. but she didn’t even put my order number in.. It was all a lie and a bluff because she probably didn’t want to take a loss at the store. I told them I will just return online because I was beyond frustrated with the obvious deceit the was occurring. They...
Read moreI’m deeply disappointed by the behavior I witnessed/experienced at Sephora on May 1, 2025 One or more employees acted in a way that I believe was racially insensitive. While shopping with my godchildren, we were followed around the store by all employees for no apparent reason. It felt like we were being watched simply because of how we looked, which was uncomfortable and frankly, discriminatory.
No one deserves to feel like a suspect while doing something as normal as shopping with their family. This kind of behavior suggests racial profiling, and it’s completely unacceptable. I truly hope store management addresses this issue, because customers should be treated equally and with respect—no matter who they are. This kind of conduct is completely unacceptable in any business, especially one that serves the public. I hope store management takes this seriously and provides proper training to prevent future incidents. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their race...
