A Rare Gem in Retail Jewelry ā Honest, Welcoming, and Genuinely Knowledgeable
I feel compelled to share my experience at Treasure Isle in Cary to offer a more accurate, fair, and informed perspectiveāespecially in light of one recent misleading and frankly disappointing review.
Iāve been a loyal client of Treasure Isle in Cary for over 7 years, and itās truly one of the best-kept secrets in the Triangle when it comes to jewelry. This is not your typical retail jewelry storeāand thank goodness for that. Diane and Steve offer a rare combination of warmth, integrity, and deep knowledge that you simply donāt find in many jewelry stores today.
Whether youāre coming in for a simple watch battery replacement or browsing their elegant selection of fine jewelry, youāre treated with respect and care. Thereās no pressure, no pretentiousnessājust real people who love what they do and know what theyāre talking about.
They carry an impressive selection of high-quality genuine gemstones and diamonds, including the increasingly popular lab-grown diamonds and gems. These pieces are not only stunning and high-grade, but ethically sourced and fairly priced. Diane and Steve are jewelry-savvy professionals who are happy to guide you, educate you, and help you find exactly what suits your needsāwith no upselling or judgment.
The Cary location is calm, welcoming, and refreshingly down-to-earth. Itās the kind of place where relationships are built over timeāwhere they remember you, value your business, and take pride in getting things right.
If youāre looking for authentic service, expert advice, and a store that actually welcomes everyoneānot just high spenders or diamond expertsāTreasure Isle in Cary is where you want to be. I wouldn't trust my jewelry needs to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām writing this review in response to the one-star rating shared below, which I believe doesnāt reflect the true character of the staff at Treasure Isle Jewelry.
Iāve been a customer of this store on and off for over 10 years. In that time, Iāve had nothing but consistently positive experiences with Diane and Steve, who run the shop. Diane is warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoys connecting with customersāsheāll happily spend time chatting with you if youāre willing to wait your turn. Steve is one of the kindest and most thoughtful managers Iāve ever met in retail, let alone in the jewelry business.
I first came in to have my wifeās jewelry repaired and her stones appraised, and since then, Iāve brought in all kinds of precious piecesānecklaces, rings, braceletsāfor repairs and adjustments. Steve and Diane have earned my trust completely over the years, and I wouldnāt take my valuables anywhere else.
They run a reputable, customer-focused shop with great attention to detail. If you ever experience a delay or feel like someone is unavailable, I truly believe itās more a reflection of how much time they devote to each customerānot rudeness or neglect.
And just as a fun aside: the Corgi calendar on the wall? Itās there because Steve owns two Corgis. Anyone who raises Corgis has got to be a good person, right? š
Just my two centsābut I hope it helps give a fuller picture of the wonderful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Treasure Isle in Cary (late January '25) to have a watch battery replaced and a pair of earrings repaired. The woman working the counter never acknowledged me entering the store and then proceeded to act as if I was inconveniencing her as she continued having a conversation with the other person in the store (related to construction being completed on a home and travel disruptions due to weather). I didnt want to be disrespectful or distuptive of the other person or the conversation, but it's a small store, and I ran out of things to look at, so I stood at the counter and waited. When I was finally acknowledged (after about 5 minutes), I was told the repairs I needed could not be completed. I found it strange that a battery replacement could not be completed, but no biggie. She told me there is a location in Crabtree Mall and if they can't do it in the Cary location, it's sent to the mall. Based on my experience, I suggest skipping Cary and going straight to Crabtree Mall. It's a much...
