The Creation Center offers a different perspective than what a lot of "secular scientists" have come to accept. While I'm not opposed to people holding the beliefs offered here, actually reading what they have in their exhibits is a stretch on the data they have. Some of their conclusions feel like a high schooler changing the meaning of a source in their term paper to support their thesis. This museum is informative, but I found it more useful to learn about how creationist scientists approach evolution than actually learning about what they believe. One example: they claim evolution cannot be real due to the lack of transitional fossils between species. There are several fossils which arguably could show species evolving (Lucy comes to mind). Separately, fossils are rare due to the several sets of conditions which need to happen in order for fossils to form. By not acknowledging this, they present a false argument on the side of "secular scientists" which is much easier to dismantle. It's not very scientific on their end. The staff I interacted with were very kind and pleasant to interact with.

Great little place to stop and talk to Bill about the mountain. Bill and his crew do a great job presenting the observations of the catastrophe in this area and applying it to others we see around the world. Solid, scientific answers for layers and fossils worldwide based on actual observations from the mountain that anyone can study! Good presentation and wife assortment of books and materials. Also took a trip with Bill up to the mountain and despite a rainy, cloudy day we got a lot of information and great fellowship from the day. Planning to head back later in the week when the weather is supposed to be better. Really appreciate the time spent here. I don't know how they operate with such low rates for tours and things!

We had a class field trip to Mt. St. Helens through the excursion experience with the Mt. St. Helens Creation Center! It was absolutely amazing. The beginning presentation was so interesting and informative. The driving was a tad much, but it was well worth the effort. Visiting all the sites was a wonderful display of God's power and creativity, just breathtaking. The tour guide, who's also the centers director, was so knowledgeable! You could tell he loves Jesus and wants others to know Him by showing the geological evidence that supports scripture. Time and time again, he referred back to scripture. It truly was a wonderful time. We will be back. Thank you!

I walked through this museum with my 2 adult sisters. We all thought it was very well presented. It ties the facts of creation to the Bible account of creation. It also debunks much of the heresy of evolution that has been taught in our public school education. It is refreshing to see the scientific facts that support creation and the number of years our world has been in existence. I am in awe of how the biblical account of the flood, the ark Noah built was/is backed up again by the scientific proof of the layers of our earth. The "jig saw puzzle pieces" of the continents. The complexity of creation is so amazing, it would take alot of faith to believe we just spontaneously came from nothing. I don't have enough faith to believe in evolution! Believing in creation by a sovereign God, with the Bible as the textbook is very believable. This museum was very educational. I will return,...
