I was looking for a place to take my family and enjoy a decent meal on a Saturday afternoon. The Oasis was open and allowed kids, so we went. We ordered a couple red beers, and drinks for the kids, and an appetizer skillfully suggested by our server. A second server brought our drinks, I received a cider, but called my server over to fix it. She brought an Irish Red Beer, at least I got the tomato juice I asked for, no lemons even though requested, I quickly threw in our order figuring it could be awhile before she came back and wanted to make sure we ordered before the other tables that were coming in. The Strawberry lemonade ordered by my son was literally lemon water with strawberry puree. I called over the second server and asked for a soda instead and a refill for my daughter since it had been awhile. After some time the second server brought our appetizer. I was nervous the entrees would arrive at the same time and rush our meal, she remembered the 2 pepsi and quickly went back for them. Our beers were long gone, we were never offered a second round. The appetizer was fairly good, we ordered the Jalapeño Popper Egg Rolls. They were hot throughout and had adequate sauce. Our server seemed to be occupied at the POS station and nothing was coming out of the kitchen. Finally after 35 minutes the entrees came, well 3 of the 4 anyway. The second server who brought our food asked what was missing and said she would return with it. 15 minutes later our server came back onto the floor and we asked again for the missing dish. I explained that we were NOT having a good experience and contemplated going elsewhere. I was already 50+ minutes deep at this point. Our daughter ate her meal and my husband and I waited for our sons food to arrive. I had already dressed my salad unfortunately. After another 15 minutes our server came and explained the food was missing but on its way. She asked if we wanted to go boxes and would comp our meal but I wanted to EAT! So we waited longer. Finally his meal came, Pretzel Rods, 45 minutes for 3 pretzel rods! My salad was warm and wilted. My husbands club sandwich was hard and dry. Our food sat in front of us for 30+ minutes waiting for our sons meal to arrive. My salad was less than appetizing at this point, I asked for a box not wanting to waste but realized I wouldn't eat it later if I didn't eat it now. We were offered some 5 dollar off tokens for our NEXT visit and given an $80 dollar bill!! We were charged for every thing we ordered even though we ate less than half and were assured our bill would be discounted. We left the boxes behind, hungry and ripped off. We have been to the Oasis before and had been impressed with the growth. It seems as though they can't handle the pressure. the service and lack of integrity was more than unacceptable. Having our server apologize was not enough, I can understand how things happen. Asking us to pay full price for subpar food AND service is obscene. When I told the server we likely wouldn't return and to apply my tokens to this bill she responded with, "I'm Sorry you feel that way", as if there were any other way to feel. Sadly we were not the only table who suffered in this way on this day. I was so upset I felt I had no other choice but to review...

We went to Silver Lake for a three night stay and our first evening we wanted to find a good place for food/drinks & pull tabs. We stumbled upon Oasis about 4 miles out from our resort and immediately were drawn by the location. We ended up having food and drinks 5 times here because we loved it so much! We are both foodies and because of our experience here we didn't even bother looking for another place to go. Every person that worked there, each time we were there greeted us with a smile and it felt like they were happy to be working and providing service to us. The servers were so friendly and authentic that it made our overall experience amazing! The owner AND chef of the restaurant greeted us as well and truthfully wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our food. {YES we did!} My boyfriend gets a French Dip at almost every place we go to and said the Au Jus was the best one to date! It was not watery and had a thick almost gravy texture to it. The next day, per our servers recommendation we ordered the French Dip burger and I have to say.. it was to perfection! The clam chowder was also a must have, the gravy for the country fried steak and the drinks were made the way we like em'! Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and amazing company. You'll be treated like family, even as an out-of-towner! Thank you Oasis team for making our experience one...

Food is good, used to be better though. They quit the necessities they used to have like no more Mashed potatoes now you get potato wedges. Whoever asks for potato wedges with a chicken fried steak meal and or a roast beef dinner over a baked potato or Mashed potatoes? I think that's pretty relevant nobody does.

No beer-battered fries either anymore now you get some shoestring fries that are so small that by the time they are brought out are already half cold over a thicker fry like the beer-battered fries they once had.

If you're going to charge more for food because of the economy which I totally understand then still bring the food to the table meant for the dinner at hand, don't take it away, and still charge more trying to save a couple of dollars or a little bit of time from the employees.

Cutting corners doesn't bring more people to the table at the end of the day it only makes people walk away faster or less impressed with...

Do you want to read about something that looks good or do you want to experience it yourself? My goal in life is to try new places along my travels. Oasis Bar & Grill in Castle Rock is a place worth driving out of your way for. While this is a full menu location with pizzas, salads (really…you want a salad at a bar?!), and fish, I suggest going full carnivore. A friendly full service bar where the staff greets you with a smile. The craft beer selection goes from Astoria to regions beyond. Don’t take my word for it. Look at my pictures. Now you see it now you don’t. Live life!!

What a cool little spot! We dined at Oasis with the Growlers Gulch Trail group and it definitely didn't disappoint! Working on biking trails give you a reason to carb load too. Terrifically friendly servers, extensive menu, lively atmosphere and tasty food. We shared the fried raviolis with marinara = really good. Mr. Wonderful had the black and blue burger with fries and enjoyed it. I ordered the Monte Cristo (gasp). Generous portions, I could only eat half. Mr. Wonderful enjoyed a Pilsner, I enjoyed a pineapple cider = delicious!

Fast, friendly service. The steak tips were perfect. The garlic fries were crispy topped with real garlic. The back patio tables are labeled smoking/nonsmoking. If you sit at a smoking table, be aware weirdos will sit with you and smoke even if you're a non smoker. Extensive menu and full bar. The inside is huge with pool tables. Good place for a nice meal and shops in the area for walking around. Reasonably priced.
