Huge thank you to Nina and her team!! I had originally purchased two 10" JL Audio subwoofers, an enclosure, and a JL Audio amplifier from Team Nutz quite a long time ago (10+ years I'm guessing) back at their previous Fox Chapel location. The equipment has been sounding killer ever since! I've had Team Nutz move the equipment into multiple vehicles since then (I went through 3-year leases on several vehicles over the years). And they always did great work.
I had them install my subwoofers and amplifier into my newly leased 2024 Hyundai Sonata N-line. When I picked it up after the initial installation, I voiced my dissatisfaction with the poor sound quality of the bass and with how little "punch" the subs had compared to how it used to sound in my previous vehicles. Also, the subs were making a very loud "popping" sound when I would shut my car off, which it had never done before. I spent a good 30-45 minutes speaking about all of this to Nina and two of their techs. They all showed genuine concern with wanting to understand what I was looking for and wanting to make things right. They explained that due to my car being brand new and having a complex factory Bose stereo system, the converter they had tried must not be supplying a clean enough signal to the amplifier. Nina said she would reach out to some industry contacts that she has and do some research on some online forums in order to figure out the best solution. (My vehicle model had literally just hit the market within the previous month or so, so no one had tested any audio equipment on it yet.)
Nina kept in touch with me as she promised and, after a week or two of researching, she wanted me to bring my car back for the entire day so they could try a different converter (a multi-channel converter that would send a cleaner signal) and a new sub-level knob kit. I then voiced my concerns about the cost and Nina assured me that she would not charge me for any additional labor, and would only charge for the price difference on the upgraded converter and/or sub-level kit.
I picked up my vehicle this week and I am blown away at how great it sounds now!!! And on top of that, Nina did not charge me anything additional for the new converter and sub-level knob they installed!!
I am so happy with my system now... it sounds as good or better than it's ever sounded in any of my previous vehicles! I can't thank Nina and her team enough for "making things right"!!!!!
Highly recommend...
Read moreMy window tint on my driver side door cracked randomly on my bronco after getting it completed by team nutz a few months ago, I then took it to my dealership to confirm it wasnât my window and it was the tint that cracked. I brought it back to team nutz to see if it was the tint or window, to which the man working at the front desk immediately said he didnât believe the tint was cracked without looking at it after stating it had randomly popped up, and a technician then came out to confirm that it WAS the tint that was cracked. It was confirmed with the technician that it was covered under warranty under the time that it was scheduled, and and was brought up with the woman working at the front desk as well when I brought my vehicle in that tints were covered under their âlifetimeâ warranty. When I picked my vehicle up, the woman at the desk said the crack was âman madeâ (this means that what they deem âman made is solely up to their discretion) even though this cracked popped up randomly and no damage was incurred to my window. If youâre looking to get your tint here, be aware they do not honor their warranty.
Adding after owners response: i will reiterate that a man sitting at the counter said that the âcrackâ wasnât possible almost immediately when i came into the shop - to which it WAS a crack, or at least that is how it was communicated with me. this left me with the impression it was covered under warranty since it was claimed to have been unlikely immediately off the bat, that it was a crack, and that it was told warranty would cover said crack. No, Iâm not reading your signs or your fine print if multiple people are telling me one thing đ Definitely poor communication and a misunderstanding. Will not return for future...

Went here for a window tint, here's how it went..
Trip 1: Picked up my car on a day that it was raining to see that there is a bunch of the excess tint stuck to the outside of my car and a rag left on the trunk; this was a clear sign of the effort put in and to come. There were more pieces of the excess tint all over the inside of my car. All of this would be okay, but the tint sucked and had bubbles all throughout.
Trip 2: After being delayed for 1.5-2 months for a second appt. to fix the tint because they wanted the same tinter as the first time to do it, I finally get an appt. When I go to pick the car up, I find a razor blade left on my trunk. I inspect the windows to realize there are lots of bubbles and fish-eyes, so I immediately schedule an appt. for a week later and demand a different tinter. After I leave, I get home to find a big glob of something on my hood (assuming glue) and had to scrape it off with a razor blade (ended up scratching my car a little in the process).
Trip 3: I ask for all of the side windows to be re-tinted again. They only do the driver's side and say they touched up the passenger side. The driver's side again has several bubbles and flaws. The passenger side still obviously sucks and they didn't do what I asked. The lady told me at this point I should probably just give up, which is BS, but I didn't want to go back anyways.
DO NOT GO TO TEAM NUTZ!!
Side story: My friend took his truck in to have something done with the tires (I think maybe have spacers put on), and they put different lug nuts back on? How's that even possible? They didn't fit and weren't meant for his truck. Luckily it was caught before something...
