I went around noon with my husband, it was relatively quiet with not many people there shopping. First thing I noticed is there are alot of produce items with stickers, (avocados, bananas, lettuce and pineapples) and a good bit of produce that didn't have a sticker was far from fresh. The tomatoes and apples had alot of bad spots, ginger root was very dried out, hot peppers were very soft, some had water rot spots, pomegranates were dried out as were the persimmons that were mislabeled sitting above the pomegranate sign. The scuppernogs looked wonderful, as did the boiled peanuts. They do have a wonderful selection of pantry items as well as jarred jams/jellies, cheese, chow chow relish, and ciders. Maybe I just went at a bad time when the produce wasn't at its best but the atmosphere was not so off putting i wouldn't shop there again, perhaps spring time would be a better time to shop there.

5 stars all the way!! We are on a road trip from Pennsylvania and stopped here for the boiled peanuts. I walked out with 4 bags of amazing fresh produce and bread! The man (owner?) was SO helpful and SO kind! 5 stars for A+ customer svc, LOW prices, hospitality, food quality, LOCAL produce, selection, boiled peanuts, and cleanliness!

Produce is NOT FRESH! The store has an odoriferous smell and the public restroom is utterly disgusting! The toilet was full of feces and toilet paper that had been there for a while. Clearly, more than several people had used that disgusting toilet, because it was filled to the rim… to the rim, and the waste basket was overflowing with paper towels and there was NO HOT WATER!! My visit was early afternoon between 1 PM-2 PM/ET! Your employees are handling food, using that broken/filthy restroom, and are unable to properly sanitize their hands. I will never return and DO NOT recommend Cayce Farmers Market. And, as for the owner/manager, or whomever replied to my review. You are a liar! How dare you call me a liar! And yes, the store was odoriferous, and even more so the toilet! It was quite clear that it had not been cleaned all day, probably even not the day before! It was utterly disgusting! And, if you keep your toilet in that manner then the establishment is unsanitary! The fact that you didn’t even address not having hot water for your own employees/and customers to sanitize their hands is even more concerning and disgusting! No, I will never shop there, and again, I do not recommend it; neither will I ever! And, for the record, you...

Very disappointed with the service. Came here to support a local business and in hope that the atmosphere would be much more welcoming and inviting. Purchased a few items but they forgot my beef brisket which was the biggest item out of everything I purchased... I got home and realized the brisket was missing from my bag so I called the next day to inquire about it. They say yes they have it. (No apology, just "yeah, we have it, come pick it up") We go the next day and pick up the meat but nothing was said or done to ameliorate the situation.

It's disappointing when a business does not make an attempt to rectify a situation when the mistake was on their end. We had to drive back for one hour (round trip); would've been ideal if we didn't have to spend extra time and money to pick up what we...
