Read moreConsistently late, poor communication between venue and between themselves, making promises or commitments that they did not uphold! Sent in a new girl that received guest complaints, was boo'ed multiple times by patrons on separate occasions. The males that stated they were going to be there to "help train" flaked on her multiple times, leaving her solo. Disappointed in the flaky service and unreliable start times that we experienced.
In reply to your comments... To say we never had an issue in two years, would be false. Having called and spoken to you multiple times over the two years in regards to where your employee was at (Ezra.. when he was the host) would be accurate. You cannot say you have never known of an issue or that we have never called, just is not true.
When we called to confirm our cancellation to insure that your employees were not going to waste a trip coming to our establishment/ go over the issues we had, you were already aware that we had switched companies. So, either your staff told you after last weeks show as they were supposed to of our cancellation or you were informed in another way that I am not aware of. Either way, your comment of being notified last minute is a stretch at best. Instead of going over the issues on the phone with you, we decided a review would suffice, as it was clear by your tone that I was not going to get anywhere with the phone conversation.
The fact that you had staffing changes is not the issue, the fact that your "trainers" of the replacement never passed on our issues or concerns to you seems to be right in line with our review of poor communication: which is an internal issue.

I'm sorry that you think us not calling you directly/ the office is where this issue is, rather than the inconsistency and lack of communication and follow through from your staff. Sean was our initial contact and Mike was our DJ. They are true professionals and I am so thankful to have had them be a part of our wedding day.
Having Mike DJ our wedding was an absolute pleasure. From the beginning, he was in regular contact with me, helping me choose songs, come up with ideas, and getting to know me so that he could cater the day to my every want or need. I struggled with choosing songs for certain parts of the day and he gave me a bunch of ideas to listen to and choose from. He also helped me come up with the idea to give my parents their first dance because they never had one at their own wedding. On the day of the event he checked in with me regularly to make sure I was happy with the music selection, the order of events, and just everything going on throughout the day. He made me feel so comfortable and confident that everything was taken care of. We had an absolute blast throughout the day. The music he played was perfect, my guests loved talking to him, and he made sure to play everyone's requests.
There was one thing he did though that truly went above and beyond to make the day so special. I had set up a video guest book for guests to record a message for us. During the reception, I checked the camera and saw that nobody had recorded us a video. I was very sad about this and went to Mike and asked if he could make an announcement asking people to use the video guest book and record us a video. Instead of simply making an announcement, he brought the camera around to every single table and helped people start and stop the recording. I had no idea he did this until I went home and watched the recordings and saw that he was giving the camera to each table and heard him in the background talking to someone about which tables had gone and which tables still needed the camera. This meant so much to me, I cannot even express how grateful I am to him for doing that.
