Fosters Mattress — Hotel in Cedar Falls

Looked up on google for a mattress store nearby, found this one. Walked in and was instantly greeted by the owner. He was so friendly and could tell he was the owner by how knowledgeable he was about each and every bed, pillow, frame, etc. He talked us through each bed, considered our budget, gave us every option he had and could explain how each bed at different comfort levels would affect my side-sleeping. He wasn't the typical salesperson, much preferred him over other times we have went into other mattress stores in the area. Wasn't trying to upsell us or rush us, very comfortable and professional. We ended up purchasing a bed and he lifted the entire bed into our truck by himself!!! Wow!!!! He gave us some words of wisdom, extra new pillow he had that was discontinued (had no more), and we bought a brand new sheet set he recommended. We were looking for a new bed for our guest room and decided to support a local/ family owned business instead of a bigger box store. Sarah welcomed us with a warm greeting and smile. She took the time and asked us questions about who would be sleeping on the bed, what kind of support , size of bed, if we were side or back sleepers. She had us lay on several and we made our decision. She had to order our boxed spring since we wanted a spilt one (much easier to move ) . They called us when our order came in and set up a delivery time. The guys were on time, set up our new frame and took away our old bed. They told us as long as you have a mattress pad on and if you don't like it call us and we will see what we can do to make it right. We received a Thank-you in the mail from Sarah about a week later. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Doug is awesome... no hard pressure sales, he let's their products sell themselves. He answered all our questions.

Doug asked us about what we were looking for and then made recommendations. He took the time to listen to our concerns as well.

We even talked about our dogs and his... ask him about Loki and Triton.

We never felt like customers, we felt like family.

Those national chains treat you like a number, that is if you can actually find someone there to actually spend time helping you.

Foster's is locally owned, we spent our money here today and will definitely spend more in the future.
