Escapology Escape Rooms Cedar Falls — Attraction in Cedar Falls

As a former escape room game master and having played over 20 games, I was very impressed with the aesthetic of our room, the immersion, and the intricacy of the puzzles! My biggest criticism was the arc in the difficulty of the puzzles. Ideally, an escape room will have easier puzzles in the beginning to warm you up, the most impressive and difficult puzzles in the middle, and the simplest puzzle as the last one when you’re running out of time and the most stressed and are unable to think as clearly. The puzzles at the beginning of our room were good at getting us warmed up but the difficulty didn’t taper off at the end which not only cost us our win but hindered our ability to appreciate the intricacy of the last puzzle. I haven’t done any of the other rooms though so maybe it was just this one, but we still had tons of fun anyways and were very appreciative of Landon for chiming in over the speaker to give us more specific direction with the hint near the end! My husband, our two friends, and myself did TH3 C0D3. It was the perfect balance between challenging, puzzling, creative, and easy to understand. It was not frustrating at all- I have been to some frustrating escape rooms and it sometimes takes the fun out of it. This escape room was the perfect level of all aspects of a well done escape room. Each clue mattered, and there were no annoying red herrings (there are some, but they certainly did not detract from the game itself). I also enjoy escape rooms that go in sequential order (one clue to go on to the next clue to go onto the next and so on), and this is one of them.

Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and excited to start our adventure. The room was brilliantly designed with creative puzzles, engaging storylines, and just the right level of challenge to keep us on our toes without feeling impossible. Every clue tied into the theme perfectly, and the attention to detail was outstanding. We loved how immersive the atmosphere felt—it truly felt like we were stepping into another world. I would 100% recommend this escape room to anyone looking for fun, challenge, and adventure. Already looking forward to coming back and trying...
