Maurices — Attraction in Cedar Park

Wow, Laura is absolutely amazing. Right from the get-go, she greeted me with an infectious enthusiasm that got me in the mood to shop! And I hate shopping. Like, I -loathe- shopping. I like wearing cute clothes, but, I hate shopping. Laura made it fun though! It was like shopping with my best friend! Better even, my friends are a bit snarky, haha. I came in with zero intention to do more than window shop, and came out with a much lighter wallet! She asked me what I was looking for, and instead of pointing me in the right direction, she went with me and made suggestions. She took my clothes in the fitting room for me while I continued to shop, and when I was ready, she had everything hung on the hooks waiting for me, with a few cute surprises to boot! She had all the dresses matched up with jewelry too. Laura has a very good eye for fashion! The store was clean and well-kept, the lighting was good. Everyone was very nice. I can't remember who checked me out, but she was very nice and wrote Laura's name on the receipt for me, so I could rave about her on the Maurices' survey site! That was super nice! DO NOT EVER go to this location. And never deal with Hailey. I have had multiple issues with her on different occasions. 1st went there in July and was told she couldn’t place online orders in store which is not true because they had multiple times there and other occasions. 2nd went in and did place an online order got a receipt and everything but never got the email and customer service couldn’t find the order number said she never placed it. 3rd time I went into return it and she said she was not able to return because I was missing the tag and couldn’t look up my purchase never had that issue before. She was very rude and dressed very sloppy definitely not representing Maurices, as I have been a loyal customer for many years. I then go to the one in pflugerville and they are able to do my return right away. Didn’t have an issue finding my info at all. I recommend to go to pflugerville as everyone there is amazing. Outstanding service! I have had Laura help me out on my last two visits and let me tell you, she is such a sweetheart! -- I felt so comfortable, welcomed and attended to my entire time at the store, i'm a plus sized woman and not once did I feel uncomfortable or judged as I have at other store locations.
