Read moreThis location will screw up and won't correct billing issues! I signed up with PF about 4 months ago. Give them CC information and everything was going smooth. Then about 1 month later, I started receiving texts on my phone that there was a problem with billing! So I called in to the location, spoke to an employee and they said everything was ok with the account. I still received the text there after, but I have read about their billing issues and thought that maybe they just haven't corrected something. So 2 weeks later (first time going there since the call in to pf), I went there to workout. I then told the guy at the counter that I kept getting these texts, is there anything wrong with my account. He looked up the account and said no you are good. I asked well why do I keep getting these text. He said it's probably an internal issue with us. Happens all the time.. So I said ok. I went and worked about. After that I wasnt getting text for a while. Now fast forward about a month. So out of the blue, I got another text about billing issues. So again, I call in .. this time the manager told me they we not able to pull the monthly fee off the card for the past few months because something was wrong with the card. So I said well thats impossible bc card works and I can prove it to you. I explained the times I called and came in to check on everything. The manager "Fatima" was not interested in me showing them the proof (my calls are recorded all the time & cc worked with everyone else) nor was she interested in even asking the employee about the conversation. She was only interested in getting the balance taken care of and all late fees to be paid. * Now let me say this, for whatever reason the funds were never deducted from my account (maybe they input information into system incorrectly or whatever). So I had no problem with paying for something that I use.. But I was not going to pay late fees (4 @ $10 a piece) for something that wasn't my fault to begin with! On top of that, I made every attempt to see if there was a problem with my account from when I 1st receive the text! She was not budging and said I will need to pay balance and late fees inspite of proof! This is where I really had the problem!! She was basically saying, even if you can prove the issue was on our side, we are still going to charge you late fees! Horrible way to do business!! I called corporate, but they just said the direct branch has to be the one to correct it. So I just paid it all including late fees (Because I am under contract). I Express my issues to her (Manager-Fatima). Interesting enough, while I am up there at the counter, another man walks in and says (to her) he is having the same issue (Slightly different, but still was getting text and having a billing issue). This is without him hearing my conversation with her.. Wooow.. So I left out and went about my day. Today is 3 days later! Guess what!! I got another TEXT saying billing issue with my account! I immediately picked up the phone and talked to Fatima. She looked it up and said.. no your account it ok sir. I will notate it though. I said, This is the same thing that happened last time!!! She said is that all sir (not interested in any conversation about past or new issues!)... I said yes. These are unacceptable practices and I will pursue this further with the BBB and regulatory agencies!! The sad part is all they had to do is look at the proof!! That's it! Read moreRevised Review. I frequent the gym and haven’t found anything to complain about, such as the manager, assistant manager, Ken, or the 3rd shift staff. I have seen that the best time is at night when the immature, problematic staff is not working. The 3rd shift is chill and relaxing. They’re mature and professional, too. I originally wrote a 5-star review because I respect the manager. He is excellent and sincere, ensuring customers have a great experience. My conscience would not permit me to say all the staff is fantastic. I dread going now except if I have no choice and I’m in the area.
I originally had an issue with a staff member for no reason; he was rude. The manager resolved the problem, and everything was back on track. Shortly after, I had other issues which caught me by surprise. I use the massage chair when I use the gym, and if no one is waiting, I ask to use it again. Quickly, this particular staff member started giving me the attitude like “ use it once and that’s all- go” type of attitude. One day the massage chair was not being used and the gym was fairly empty; but as soon as I could get out the chair to ask again he told me he was resetting the chairs/ beds. In all the time I’ve attended the gym it was never reset while I was there. I asked him if there is a certain time they reset the chairs because I knew he was lying. He told me no, but It will take 30 mins to reset. I left the gym but returned back without going to my car. The chairs were no longer being reset so I asked him if it was done? He told me “no” and reset the chairs again. I decided to wait hoping he would realize he was being petty and poverty minded. After, over 30 mins. I just left. I knew I had to speak with the manager the next time I saw him. I asked the manager do they reset chairs/ bed while in use or during the day and was told “No” I have nothing but respect for the manager. on another occasion the same guy ask someone if he can help them and all he was doing is plugging in a headphone to charge for the customer, I knew he was going to drag it out because I was waiting for the chair. So, I had to walk around to get someone else to do it who was leaving and he had to tell the other person who was starting the shift to do it. All the while the idiot is still playing around asking like it he can’t plug in the headphones. The customer had to them come around to plug it up. All of this is a stall tactic. Its the tall light skin guy who looks like he is disengaged and don’t want to be there with his arms folded. I will say when I go to the gym I experience discomfort seeing these staff members. It’s no longer a relaxing feel. You know when they been talking among themselves about situations. They project the same attitude. It’s more relaxing for me to just so to go to another location for a better experience. If I ask to use chair 9, they just put me on 8. So I have to go back and ask again, then they will say “I set chair number 8 for you-I will have to explainchair #9 feel better for my back. I have to see they make a face like I’m annoying. Who in the hell have time for this. Customers do not want to engage with them. It’s simply not the reason we signed up for membership. I will use this gym as a last resort. The experience is what led to the finally decision is 80% the resetting and lying amount it. I’ve also saw where he talk to other customers nasty and that’s why I changed/moved my home gym location. The other 20% is because of the other staff members (other than the professional staff members I previously noted).
