Skyland Park — Attraction in Brookhaven

Skyland park is truly a Brookhaven gem. It was planned out well. There’s so many good things about this place: a Childrens playground, a beach volleyball ball court with gorgeous yellow beach chairs, an open field, a dog park and plenty of space for everyone! I rate it a 2 for its cleanliness or lack there of, especially around the area of the volleyball ball court and stadium seating. I’m always in shock every time we go there and I see garbage on the ground and on the court, empty bottles and tissues scattered everywhere. It makes the park feel dirty. Rating the dog park specifically... They have two separate zones for big or small dogs. It's kept decently clean but there are a couple of small muddy areas that my dog gets into because he's a digger. I know the water is off for the winter but even when it was warm it seemed to not always work so bring your own. Only real issue isn't the park's fault, but every time we go there are a couple of dogs that are aggressive and the owners do nothing about it...
