Supreme Fades Barber Shop — Attraction in Champaign

I would say this is the most unprofessional haircut I have ever had. I made an appointment with Athel Kim and thought he’s a good barber by the babershop’s Instagram pictures. I didn’t notice how bad it is until I go home and see both side isn’t even the same. My right side got a high bald fade and left side is like an incomplete mid fade. In addition to that, my right front side is like losing a part of hair because of the mistake he made. I told him to do some scissor cut for the top, and I can tell that he didn’t know what he’s doing at all. I think he didn’t learn how to cut before having this job. I had to go home and took out my razor and scissor to fix my own hair. Overall, if you have $20 to spend on a haircut, please avoid going here. Or you could give your friend $20 and I can guarantee that he could do a better job than Athel’s since he is trash. Even $8 haircut in great clips is way better than this. I took my 6 year old in for a haircut with Beni. Although Beni is young and new at this craft he did a phenomenal job on my boy’s hair. I told him online what I was looking for. He confirmed when we arrived and continued checking in with me throughout the cut to ensure we got what we wanted. Beni takes his time and is thorough. If you need something specific, just ask!

Update: we had to sneak In a haircut for family photos. Our usual didn’t have openings for the last minute cut. Gracson did a fantastic job and is also attentive to detail.

I’m the kind of person that used to get a regular hair cut from the same barber for over 8 years strictly because I don’t trust anyone to mess with my hair. Due to relocation I decided to try supreme fades and I feel like it opened a whole new world to me. The guys there are humble and passionate about the job and treat it like a form of art. I get my hair done by Athell Kim and this dude got some talent. He takes his time and pays attention to details. He uses the machine, scissors, and a shaving blade.
