Anytime you attend an indoor playground on the weekend, you can expect it to be busy. The Sunday I attended was no different. My group alone was a party of 13. When we arrived, the front desk was assisting a family or two before us. While we waited, we were greeted and informed they will be right with us. After some time went by, a lady informed us we can scan the QR code on the door, if we’d like, to fill out the waiver if we were newcomers. Some of us did while other’s continued on the Kiosks. We were given a container for our shoes and belongings as well as wrist bands that permitted us to leave and return as long as we had our receipt.
We arrived around 10:30a, left for lunch, and returned. In total and certainly unexpectedly, we stayed for 8.5hrs. Because of this, we were able to interact with the morning staff as well as the evening staff. The customer service remained consistent throughout! Everyone was kind and personable. All of the staff were more than willing to help when needed. They cleaned the entire time we were there. They checked on the families at each table to see how they were doing and if they needed their trash removed. Lastly, they PRIORITIZE the wellbeing of the children!
There were a few instances where the staff had to intervene just to ensure the safety of the children at play. They did so with a gentle and caring approach. My son has autism and there were moments he was attempting to make an unsafe choice. As I began talking to my son before I could get inside the jungle gym, numerous staff stopped what they were doing to be supportive to us and make sure he was safe. They truly make you feel like family.
I’m a few weeks behind but I promised I would write a review of my experience. I hope the readers of this review feel encouraged to visit this location and have the same, or an even better experience than my party and I had there! :)
To the staff, please don’t lose your decorum! Many people show up to work to collect a check and it shows in their lack of interpersonal skills, impatience, and work ethic. You all have managed to create a work environment that exudes joy, professionalism, and fun! Whatever your hiring process is, don’t lower the bar. It’s working in...
Read moreI’m going to start with the positives. It’s very clean. There’s plenty to do for kids of most ages I would say up to about 10. That’s about all I can do for the positives. I’m going to go with the negatives now. The price is a little higher than most places we go to. However the time is unlimited so I’m going to let that go. They don’t let you bring outside food or drink. That is an outdated practice. The fact is with food allergies and the cost of playing we need to bring in our own lunch and snacks. Even Disneyland lets you bring your own food for crying out loud. Next…if you have an age gap in your children but they are under 18 they are charged the $25 to cross over to sit at a table and read a book. Again asinine practice. You can’t pay $5 as an “extra” adult for them to come sit with you. So to entertain your younger child you are forced to sacrifice your older child. Make it make sense kids empire. That is literal insanity. I am fuming mad that my 13 year old is sitting outside in the lobby instead of with me as I type this review. I know many will agree that is a nonsensical policy that must be changed immediately. If I didn’t have other kids I would have turned around and walked right out the door. Also adults can’t enter without socks which I appreciate the keeping clean or the floors and structures but I hate being without shoes I don’t even walk around the house without house shoes so that bothered me. Mostly I’m angry about the policy to charge a 13 year old $25 to cross through to sit at a table. Like what kind of childrens place would rather separate you from your kid as opposed to just let you sit at the table. For safety and inclusivity and honestly for the principle of it, that needs to...
Read moreFrom the first time I've attended to all the times in between, my experience has been wonderful! Sophie is typically working the front desk when we arrive and she does a great job! She's soft spoken, friendly, kind, and patient. Each time she's welcome my crew and I with a warm welcome as soon as we walk in the door. Yesterday she walked around the seating area to check on us and other families to ensure we were all having a good time and didn't need anything. Keep it up Sophie! :)
Amir was present when I showed up a few weeks ago. He's always kind as well. At the time he was cleaning the equipment and perhaps walking through the jungle gym to ensure all was up to par. Who doesn't appreciate that? He is a character as well as he was trying to "show off" by going down that steep pink slide that everyone knows I'm terrified of!! 8P Lol!
Jaleel typically arrives closer to the time I'm heading out. Nevertheless, he is kind and also checks up on us to ensure we're having a good time. He has consistently let my crew and I know that he and the staff are always willing to help shall there be anything we need. He does a great job promoting the indoor playground and recently mentioned there are flyers available to refer other families to their location. Jaleel is an awesome manager from what I can see; very easy going guy!
As usual, no complaints here. A recommendation would be to please get the staff some name badges. They deserve to be acknowledged by their names without customers having to frequently ask what it is. ;)
Thank you all for being...
