SomeBurros has declined in quality of food and customer service the past few years. Tonight, they totally blew it! I called a couple days ago to make sure they were open Christmas Eve and I was told they close at 6pm. I went at 3pm and they told me that they were only doing platters after 2pm. WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THAT THE NIGHT I CALLED TO CHECK THEY WERE OPEN? I am PISSED! I drove 10 miles out of my way to get food from SomeBurros and they manage to screw that up too. STAY AWAY FROM SOMEBURROS! They are going to have a hard time persuading me to come back, that's for dang sure!
UPDATE AUG 24TH 2025 They screwed up yet again! So, I came to SomeBurros today to get a Taco Salad which I was looking forward to all week. When I arrived, I told them I didn't want meat or lettuce on it but everything else I wanted. However, the order girl couldn't get the order right and told us to pull up to the window to order. So we did and it turns out she started helping someone else who had come in after us despite us waiting to give her the order. Her attitude was pissed and flip despite us trying to work with her. All I have to say is DO NOT go to this location!
UPDATE AUG 31ST 2025 After last times complaint, the manager contacted me offering $15 voucher if I came back. I was impressed by that so I thought I would give it another go. The lady taking my order was very nice and had no issue with me having it the way I wanted it. When the food was ready to take home, the girl that got it was the same girl as last time. She barely acknowledged me, said my name once very quietly and seemed to be put off that I was even there and ignored the question I asked her (confirming the order was mine since I couldn't hear her well when she called the name). Read moreI am very disappointed with my last visit which happened less that an hour ago. My mother and I came in to dine in, we checked the hours on the door to ensure that the Chandler location was open. There was no cars in the parking lot and no one inside besides the employees. After we had ordered for dine in the associate helping us told us that they were closing at 5. It was only 4:54 when we finished completing our order. It was obvious that they had kicked everyone out before we had come in because the tables were all clean and employees were just standing around. The associate told us there was a posted sign on the door, when we went to look it was such a small sign and was no where near the restaurant hours. It was all the way on the side of the doors where no one could see. They locked the doors right after we had ordered so it was still not 5 and other people came to try and get food however they were not able to since the employees had locked the door before the 5:00pm time they said they were closing. They were speaking Spanish so we could not understand and giving us disgusted looks. I find it ridiculous that the restaurant would close 4 hours early for a game when you are open on Christmas Day. Them closing early even just a few minutes is still false advertising, if they do it for the Super Bowl what will they do for something more than a game. Read moreWorst costumer service. Waited an extended time for my two item order (two items that didn’t even need to be cooked) then decided to check in with the staff to see how much longer. I’m holding a number in my hand and the staff member tells me they don’t have record of my order and wanted to see my receipt. I walk back to my group, that has already finished their food to get my receipt and bring it back to the staff member. She proceeds to talk to the cooks and turns around to tell me they already delivered my food. I showed her the number in my hand and said I would not be standing here if I received my food. She then takes my number asks me what my order was again, then tells me to just wait there and they will remake it. I told her it was fine at this point my whole party was done so I would just take a refund. She said no it will just take a minute for them to make the food so I had them make it to-go. The fact that she didn’t just make it right the first time I asked about the order, but instead had me spend my evening with friends to prove I ordered a bean burrito and a bean taco, then made me wait there rather then apologize and bring it out to me was not right. Some serious training in customer service is needed at this location. Not to mention they were seeping the floors and making food at the same time.
